He got hurt last year and if it wasnt for ricky we would not have beat the jets or the pats. Now brown has hammy injuries, groin and now this hand injury. Are his injuries any concern to anyone else as to how he can be a long term fit at RB.

No, this is normal for an NFL back. The season is tough to get through injury free. We've really lucked out here because now Ronnie has a good amount of time to rest not only his hand, but any other injury he has at this point. Based on the medical reports coming out today, i would be very shocked if he was to miss any games.

I remember reading how, if the Dolphins were in the Playoff hunt (last year).......Brown would've played. He sat for precautionary reasons.

Every player is going to tweak a hammy/groin from time to time. As for his hand injury, he got his hand stuck in another player's helmet (fluke injury that would've happened to any player).

Brown's Injuries should not be a concern as related to being injury prone.

Brown as all running backs are human beings.

Human beings are not made of Titanium. I being a human being no that getting hit extremely hard by a helmet, or another human being that is 300 pounds can take its toll.

Every Human that walks the face of the earth is injury prone.

If you don't think so go jump off a two story building a couple of times.

Ronnie is a beast and with a little bit of luck he will last in Miami for years to come.

A few knicks and knacks don't make him any less of a back.

This is the second thread you have made with negaive things about a player, lol.

As far as Ronnie goes, I'm not worried, they are normal "injuries" for a RB. I played RB from Pop-Warner up through high school and I got my hand caught in a facemask more than a few times, and I have tweaked my groin a few times too. I lucked out with the hammies, but I had plenty of other bumps and bruises to make up for it. As a RB you are pretty much GARUNTEED to get hit every play of the game. The best plays for you (body-health-wise) are pass plays when you stay at home to block, because you don't get tackled, but some blocks are pretty hard on the body too, lol. But every other play you get hit. On play-action, you get hit as a decoy, and running the ball you obviously get hit. They take more punishment, IMO, than any other position. QBs don't get hit every play (unless their line doesn't exist, lol), WRs don't, LBs and DBs may not make a tackle every play so they aren't taking punishment every down. The only other positions that are comparable in terms of contact are linemen on both sides. Now I never played line so IDK exactly what it;s liek, but to me it would seem that it isn't AS bad as a RB because they start off close to each other and they are blocking, not tackling each other, where a RB gets hit from guys with running starts most of the time.

Long story short, lol, Ronnie's injuries aren't serious, nor are they out of the norm, so no, I'm not worried.

UMMM whats negative about his post are you ok :shakeno:

its not negative. I am just worried about ronnie's health and hope he be like how Ricky was, hurt but not hurt bad enough to miss games.

I personally am not worried about his injuries......it's not like any of them are season ending.

Yea I misread it, I apologize, I thought you were calling Ronnie injury prone and thus unreliable, but you weren't. You still talked negative about Chambers though

Ronnie is underrated IMO. I hear alot of commentators saying how because we picked him with the 2nd pick he is supposed to be a playmaker, a franchise back blah blah blah then Ronnie gets over a 100yds and catches balls and makes plays! then they rave about how he puts 100% effort in and makes extra yds when he shouldnt!?! Its a mixed mag with opinions on RB. The kid will get even better IMO. He isnt doing a bad job now. its his 1st full season as the featured back with Ricky absent and hes doing the business IMO.

He is a NFL running back they all get beat up over the course of the year, the hand injury was because of a defenders helmet smashing right up against it and the injury last year was a high ankle sprain which is a common injury for running backs and at first it looked like he might have blown out his knee. So no I am not worried about it.

not really. all running backs take a huge amount of damage. being a bruising back ronnie will get some injuries. thats a big reason saban and many coaches find it so important to have two starting quality backs.
