Do the Dolphins have the neccessary receivers to run the West Coast Offense?

How will the West Coast Offense impact the Dolphins receivers? Do we have the receivers to run the West Coast Offense? If not, who is available through the draft or free agency that would be a good fit? Your thoughts?

Apparently WCO receivers are easy to acquire in the mid to late rounds of the draft and only require a strong moral character in order to give your team a top offense. They also don't need star QBs to accomplish this. It's amazing, really.

Look at most of the teams that run the West Coast- Gbay is a perfect example-Jennings is the best of the bunch I would say a good hands guy, Driver was a clutch 1st down guy, Nelson was the deep threat. Finley was what made them all go- with him in they were a mismatch nightmare- Like the other post do we have that TE is the real question. They have talked big on Gates but he would have to have a giant leap this year to impress.

Has everyone forgot about Clay? I thought in limited action he had some good showings. Also I think that Fasano has shown he can be a threat given the opportunity. Hes not a burner but has been pretty reliable. In Philbins offense I believe both Clay and Fasano will be given the chance to shine. Gates has the speed and I expect Miami to find out if he has what it takes to be a consistent threat as a receiver and not just a return guy.I could see us going after Early Doucet or Manningham WR wise. We will definitely be looking at WR in the draft since it is a deep class this year.

So you feel comfortable after getting rid of an elite WR because we have Clay, Fasano, and Gates? You can't be serious.

You can also stop bringing up people you can see us bringing in. Like you say, Philbin's plan is draft draft draft....

How 'bout asking this question when the season is to begin. We are still way too far away from having this as our final receiver set.
