I guess I get the tank thing but as a fan I want to at least think we’re trying to win. With these moves it’s obvious that front office is flushing this season, especially the Fitzpatrick move, if were gonna suck and go with youth why even bother playing this scrub. Rosen would make losing more tolerable. At some point you have to pay top end players, really sorry to see our best player on offense go. Always next year, this season is phucked before it even begins

I'm kind of with you here. No Tunsil makes us much worse. I'm hoping there will be more moves to follow. We have to have a plan for LT.

I am opening up my schedule to take additional youth football officiating games on Sundays this year. I can always catch up with the highlights later and see if there is any improvement.

if we go 8-8 this year we'll win the Super Bowl in the next 2 or 3 years

Seems legit...

To answer the original question; this season is still going to be plenty entertaining to me. Mostly because I can’t wait for Rosen to get his opportunity. I also think this defense is going to be pretty good.

Want to see if Flores in action and what he can squeeze out of this depleted roster.

Looking forward to watching Baker, Minkah, Charles Harris try to take the next step. Want to see what Preston Williams does as well.

And for the first time in a long time we seem to have a plan and some direction. I think the future is bright; I’m excited as hell for what lies ahead

Fitzpatrick becoming the starter did just that (for me). But now it actually makes sense why they named him the starter instead of Rosen.

Time to watch some college football and look forward to the 2020 offseason.

It’s gonna be entertaining to see if we can win a game or join the browns and Bucs as teams to lose every game in a season!

Miami tanking isn’t news. This was known months ago. I never set myself up to watch this season for wins and losses. This should be a season where you’re watching for player development, execution and coaching. Because if those things aren’t happening then it doesn’t matter after this season anyway.

Depends on how you define entertaining really.

I resigned myself to us tanking as soon as Coach Flo signed that extra-long contract and Grier started talking about the rebuild. Many people continued to hold out hope that it would be more of a "reload" or even "rebuild" … and if they still think that they're probably quite unhappy today. But, if you define entertaining as watching young players get an opportunity to blossom, and you see the individual development of the players and the units, it can still be entertaining. If you're dead-set on making the playoffs … well I think those people are going to be disappointed … just no other way to say it.

Personally, I'm hoping we build a team that can compete post-Belichick, so I'm OK with tanking. I'm tired of mediocrity and trying to patch a bad wall with extra-thick spackle and a new paint job. I want to tear it down to the foundation and build a great new house, and I'm OK with living through the construction it will take.

I miss Don Shula and winning all the time. I miss dominating players like Dan Marino and Larry Csonka. I want to dream of winning Super Bowls, not just of making the playoffs. I miss the Dolphins being great, and I'm OK with sucking for a year or two if we can finally return to greatness. I'm hoping we can. So me … I'm going to find our tanking/rebuilding 2019 team entertaining, but that's more of a decision than an observation.
