That big game against the Broncos changed the reality of the Dolphins, cuase that was when Fiedler broke his thumb, Chambers got one of the biggest hits, Gadsen getting hurt...u know all that happening, would Fiedler play better now if his thumb was ok? and would the offense stay the same from that game?

Bro, any hypothetical with Jay Fiedler is one I'm not willing to explore. The guy was a winner, real tough. But he reminds me of Wannstedt and Wannstedt reminds me of hurting something. My wall has enough battle scars.

Maybe if weren't born they'd be a different team.

I don't think it changed the Fins, but Chambers certainly has never been the same.

C'mon dude lets not get carried away, Chambers made the pro bowl. That hit didnt affect him 1 way or another.

i've always thought that game changed the phins for the worst. granted, it was a great game, but like you said, feidler got hurt in that game and missed the next 7 games. we were 5-1 after the denver game, and we lost 4 of the next 7 games. if feidler coulda stayed healthy...we could have probably won some of those and i think easily made the playoffs that year. our team dominated that year if i remember...cept for our backup qb who shall not be named. everytime i think to myself "wow..how did the phins get to where they are today?"...i think of that game as the turning point

I've actually always thought is was the next game. In particular 1 play. The reverse after the fake punt. Where Ray Lucas fumbled the ball. Up until that play, the Dolphins looked pretty good with him in there. After that is when he lost his mind. I think he shat himself. i know I did.

Wrong - prior to that hit Chambers was a beast across the middle. After the hit, he rarely goes over the middle and never puts on the line anymore. That hit changed his game big time.

I remember when he came back from that hit that year and he you could tell he was always looking around it seems like he has gottned rid of that over the years though.

I was there and saw the hit up close. Kenoy Kenndy was flagged for the hit, but really CC was just unlucky. He was actually pushed from behind into Kenoy, but KK still got fined for the hit.

I think we were something like 6-1 at that point and headed for the playoffs with a strong team. Actually I just looked it up and it was 5-1 and we lost the next three games. We finished the season with the 12th ranked offense in points scored and the 4th ranked in points allowed. Its unbelievable we didn't make the playoffs that year. A big part of it was the Patriots game at the end of the year when we blew a 4th quarter lead, mostly because of absolutely terrible play calling.
