Looking at our current group of recievers you could argue it's one of the worst/ most unproven group in the league right now...

we really have no true #1 guy who teams will be scared of.. Ginn has great potential but is still pretty much unproven as a #1 reciever.

So I think we must trade for a veteran tomorrow? either that or possibly draft one high tomorrow and let him compete with ginn and wilford?

I don't think we wanna go into 2008 with only ginn/wilford/hagan, it's really at the moment one of the worst positions on our team.

I think our #32 should be spent elsewhere but what about our #57?

we still need 2 receivers behind Ginn, hagan and Wilford.I say we will take a cap cut and draft one late like arrington.

Trading seems unlikely. Snyder offering so much for Chad Johnson sets the asking price pretty high for WRs like Boldin or Williams. Watching Hagan play makes my eyes bleed so I think we do need to pick up another receiver, but unless a top WR slips a long way in the draft I can't see spending a high draft pick on one. Not when there's so many other needs. Maybe someone will get cut later and we'll steal a good player but unless it's a Cowboy I doubt Parcells would be interested.

If Hardy is there at #32 I think Parcells takes him. Other than that I think we wait a couple of rounds to draft one.

Hardy is the perfect complement to Ginn, big, strong, has good speed and is a force in the redzone.

I think Jordy Nelson would be excellent at 57 or 64. We already have a big guy in Wolford. I think we are looking at DE/OLB at 32 if not a QB. Nelson has speed and knowledge of the game with good hands. Solid producer IMO. We would then have 3 different types of WR.

I really really want Sweed, I love this guy so much. (UT fanatic)

People don't realize that if Sweed was healthy . . . I think he is gone at 11 to Buffalo . . . hell it wouldn't suprise me if they reached for him there.

Sweed has the BEST hands in the draft . . . and IMO the best route runner also. Great size . . . and good speed (4.4's) . . . if he is fully recovered .he is a STEAL. He has been injury pone however, so there is a risk . . . and that is why he potentially can be had at 32.

I remember after last years draft . . . they had a BPA to watch for 2008 . . . and Sweed was in the top 5 prospects list . . . .along with Dorsey, Jake Long, Calais Campbell and McFadden.

I'd say we're definitely drafting one.

If Hardy falls to #32, we have to jump on him... a WR that big to compliment Ginn would be awesome. I also like J. Nelson from KSU. If we come away with one of those two guys, that'll be awesome.

Oh, and I'm still sticking with my sleeper pick, T. Blythe from ISU. If we nab him late, I'll be thrilled... he's huge (6-5), has good hands, and runs great routes. Always seemed to show up in big games and killed my Hawks a couple times... lol.

I highly doubt Sweed will be there. If history is any indication you are better off filling other draft needs early and drafting a WR late. With as many holes as Miami has I'd like to see them wait until the 5th or 6th round to get a WR.

After all this team is kind of set to draft a bit of a project. Ginn and Wilford will probably be the starters on a team that plans to run a lot. When we go to a three or four wide set they could use the WR they draft assuming he beats out Hagan, which wouldn't shock anybody.

It's not a good draft for WR. If the coaching staff has faith in Hagan, it's not a major need. If not, which seems likely, then it is a major need. But, there isn't a guy in this draft that projects as a real #1 guy.

Agreed, I thinking Miami rolls withever is on the roster right now and maybe adds a late round guy like Arrington.

FWIW:Every "expert" on TV agrees this draft is expecially weak at the WR position.
