I just saw that he will become a free agent.

Now that this is real, I think we'd be foolish not to replace Junior with him.

dolfan tom....i love your sig!
Thanks man!

I'm praying to God for - among other things way more important than football - the name "Brees" to appear in place of "Next."

If we can afford him, and if Saban thinks he can turn him from a pure freelancer into a real actual linebacker, sure.

I would rather Saban go after Julian Peterson.

Some reports are stating that he may retire. Do we want a guy that isnt commited?

Why would he pay 4 million dollars to terminate his contract and then retire, when he could just retire, and have 4 million dollars. I believe the reports you are hearing are wrong.

Only if Lavar has a real change of attitude. He has great skills but is not very coachable and I don't think Saban is very interested in uncoachable players.

I don't see him ever becoming a fin but I'd be all for it. I think he would be a huge upgrade but he'd be paid a lot of money as well.

I'm not an expert on the Washington Defense but would be curious what you all thought of him in the 3-4 defense? Any thoughts?

I'd be all for it but unfortunately don't see it happening.

No, we want nothing to do with Lavar. I live in D.C. so I see plenty of coverage on this guy. He is an absolute pea brain who is incapable of playing in any defensive system that requires him to think. He would be a terrible fit in Saban's scheme. If we want to sign a big name line backer it should be Peterson.

julian peterson is a better fit than arrington but i think both will be out of our price range...
