Now I am definately not trying to start anything, just a simple question...

We all know he had his unexpected retirment and Phins fans hated him, rightfully so...And same thing with Terrell Owens this offseason where all the hoopla happened and Eagles fans didn't want to deal with him either...

But once Owens scored a TD in PRE-SEASON the fans were all over him and loved him...Now that Ricky is producing, having some solid games and a TD yesterday where the crowd erupted...Is it safe to say that you all are now fans of Ricky again?

i was pissed when he left but I understood he didnt want to be pounded a million times. Did i agree with how he did it no. did I hate him, yeah for a while but i got over it. Do i welcome him back. yes I do. Do i expect him to carry us . nope thats Ronnie's job now.

I have been a fan of Ricky ever since he cameback in the summer. People needs to realize that Ricky is just a different guy. But I am sure that some Ricky haters has turned into Ricky lovers because of him doing a good job at running the ball. Aleast he isn't a punk like TO is.

I like him as a player as long as he continues to break free and score TD's for this team.

Nope. Still know that he is a quitter. I dont care how talented he was or maybe still is, he is an absolute cancer. Other then when Shula was forced out, the day they allowed Ricky back was the darkest day in Dolphins history.

i think TO is way worse....like WAAAAY worse just overall...what a baby he is

i think ricky is a totally different type of person...he is intelligent and well spoken, im sure he cares about money like everyone else in the world...but TO is ridiculous.

welcome back ricky williams and look out jets, pats, bills...for years to come this guy is back and is definitely not a shell of his former self...this guy can play.!!!

When he decided to come back, I at first was sceptical... but once the players accepted him, and once he showed he was serious, I was glad we were able to get him back on the field.... I always liked the guy, didn't like what he did, but he seems to be passed that now... I hope he stays.

RUN RICKY RUN ... Damn Straight. Ricky is a monster, glad he is back. One of my favorite players to watch in the NFL.

How has he been a "cancer" this year?

I like Nick for how he handled it. Got a top flight RB as a back up/trade bait when everyone else had written him off. At no time did he put the team at risk by depending on a undependable erratic personality. So, yeah, I like Ricky, as long as I don't have to count on him. Wouldn't give him a huge contract without a gazillion stipulations and incentive clauses. But if we trade him for a 7th round pick, that's more than anyone thought we'd have a year ago.

I don't think any Dolphin fan can honestly say they weren't pissed off at him for what he did when he did it. But now, he's back in a Dolphins uniform, and he's been doing a good job so far, he seems to want it. I like Ricky Williams the player, I don't know about Ricky Williams the person, aside from the fact that he's a little out there.

Honestly though, it seems weird seeing Ricky out there. I almost feel kinda embarrased for him though, b/c we had a post here a week or two ago claiming that no one helped him get up from being tackled.

It made me realize that maybe some of the guys on the team still haven't forgiven him. Now I dunno if it's like that or not, I just had a feeling in the back of my mind that he's an outcast.

It's weird :goof:

The day Dan retired was the darkest day in Dolphins history. Ricky is NOT a cancer. He does everything he is asked. If you want a cancer, take a look at T.O.

I never stopped being a fan. He's a hell of a football player and he's a good guy, though a bit... eccentric. We're a better team with him on the team, and what he did to us last year helped us out in the long run.
That's just how I see things.
