Do you believe Ronnie Browns so called working out is anything close to what he will see in training camp? Also, do the playbooks change dramatically from mini-camps to training camps?

Athletes are athlete he was at Auburn and college condition is much harder than NFL conditioning. College player run around at practice and NFL player hog jog from station to station, his physical conditioning will be better than most of the fins I wouldnt worry about that. Playbook knowledge that is another story.

I guess that explains why so many rookies run into that proverbial wall at about the 12th week of the NFL season. :shakeno:
Most NFL teams have offseason conditioning programs that are as good as or better than college programs.

The playbook doesn't change. The page they are working on does.

I'm sure he'll be fine. What we've heard can only tell us Ronnie is an extremely hard worker with a true passion for football. I'm confident he'll be digesting the plays and will be in excellent shape. Of course, nothing is better than on field training with Saban and Linehan but it's not like he's slacking off or anything.

We won't know until he's in camp. I, personally, don't believe that he will be able to duplicate what he's going to go through in camp, but I could be wrong. Nevertheless, even if he's in great shape and learns the playbook, he still has to prove it to the coaches, which he can't do until he gets to camp. If he doesn't hurry, Lamar Gordon is the opening day starter.

It's going to hurt him in the early season no doubt. Hes going to be step behind on the learning curve of the offense and still has to adapt to the NFL game in general. I think in the long run he will be ok but he needs to be in these preseason games playing with professionals and at practice digesting the system.
