We are the only team in the last 25 years to not win a playoff game. Worse than the Browns, Panthers, I put our 1-15 team against anyone as one of the worst teams ever. We have a couple years of fun sprinkled in like the Wildcat season, Gases one good year and recently Flores and McDaniel has a couple seasons where there were some fun games but ultimately nothing came of it and we got bounced in the first round, most times in lopsided fashion like the Steelers a few years ago Chiefs etc. We continue to take half measures by either firing the coach but not the GM or promoting Grier when didn’t deserve the job after Tannenbaum left. Grier has made some good picks, he’s never drafted any true superstar elite all pro talent that didn’t end up leaving the team and having their best years on other teams like Tunsil and Minkah. He’s passed on some game changing players because he took the safe route, and he has completely wasted the war chest of draft capital cap space we had accumulated for the rebuild. This is a failed rebuild anyway you look at it, yes some of that is due to untimely injuries but if you sign injury prone players you shouldn’t be shocked when they get hurt.

I want to see the Dolphins win a Super Bowl in my lifetime. Grier has proven time and time again that he doesn’t have what it takes to competently manage a franchise, we should be looking at someone in the KC/Baltimore/Eagles etc FO because they know what a successful organization looks like. I liked McDaniel the first couple seasons, but his play calling, getting plays in on time and his practice philosophies are wearing my patience thin, he isn’t learning fast enough and adapting fast enough to what defenses are throwing at us. It shouldn’t take 2 seasons to figure out how to beat a cover 2 shell, and he’s the one telling Grier to go for skill positions over OL so he has a lot to prove this year. We as fans should be demanding excellence and competence from our team, I’m not settling for limping to the playoffs and getting ass blasted in the first round. We should all want more, I go into every season hoping for the best but I also am realistic about what I see going on with this team, and some of you just blindly trust them to lead us for some reason when they have done nothing to earn our trust.

If you don’t watch the games, you certainly shouldn’t be commenting about people being RONG.
I don't get to watch ALL the games.
I do get to see about half of them.

I can recognize a belligerent two-year-olds' behavior in some "presumably" grown men who post here.

Do you think you can qualify for that? - LOL

I'm here to debate football and give my opinion on what I think matters for this team, your posts are immature and really have nothing of value to add to the topic besides you trying to make jokes or whatever it is you are doing. I have no interest in going back and forth with you on anything thats not related to football, all I see from you is LOL and RONG and lemmings and just babble that has nothing to do with football. I'd love for you to give me some insight on why you think Eichenberg got better, what specific games can you point to or any plays in general where you saw him being anything other than terrible? Hes a an awful player who should be on the bench, he did not get "significantly better" in any way shape or form, and I watched the all-22 I can show you games and plays in every part of the season where he was a a disaster. Why do you think Adam Gase is a genius? I'd like to hear some actual football talk from you instead of whatever it is you call posting.

Don't know why I'm explaining this to an 80 year old man that posts like a 12 year old 90 percent of the time.

Just put him on ignore bud. A lot of us did.

It's all Tua's fault. That was a pretty funny option. But I'm not a child. 🤣
I was going to select that option because in a roundabout way he is a massive part of the problem. People have been so set on their opinion of him that it seems like some people would rather the Dolphins lose so they cut Tua and they can be proven correct than the Dolphins win anything other than a Super Bowl. Doesn't matter if it's 12 win seasons, even play off wins won't keep those people happy, it's Super Bowl or Tua is a bust.

Interestingly a lot of these fans slobber all over Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson who have had more way more roster help and more attempts at winning a Super Bowl and still can't even make it to one let alone win it.

Sometimes it feels like supporting the Dolphins has turned into a mini-sport in itself with the Tua "haters" on one team and "TuaAnon" on the other side. This feeling probably won't ever leave until the Dolphins either cut Tua or win a Super Bowl with him. Anything in between will always have these two sides complaining about each other.

Bravo!! Although I can't see his posts anymore because the mods took it upon themselves to block him from me, I know exactly who your talking about and your right, he is a total waste of time to even respond to. The dude has admitted so much I'm surprised the mods even let him post here anymore. Dude has only been here since gase, less than 1% of his posts have anything to do with football, when he does comment football, it's the dumbest **** ever like what you pointed out, eichenberg improvement? Lmao. And now he admits he doesn't even watch the games? Wtf? And has the gull to come here and talk ****?

Unbelievable...

Aren't you a big proponent of "not censoring those who think and post differently?"

I thought a 12-year-old would be better able to communicate with a 2-year-old.

I guess I didn't make that clear enough.

It should be a mockery. But when posters repeatedly suggest that fans shouldn’t want the Dolphins to win games (even for the purpose of long-term success), you eventually have to ask “Why? Do you think what fans want affects whether they win or not?”

Yes, it’s an amazingly stupid premise. So is suggesting that fans are selfish or wearing aqua-colored glasses because they want the Dolphins to win, because that directly implies that it has some effect on the team’s wins and losses.

Regarding the “fan strike” thing, I’m uncertain how well that would work. NFL revenue sharing would dilute any financial losses. Available tickets are usually snapped up by third party sellers and then re-sold. And Ross certainly doesn’t need the money.

The only thing that would have any effect, in my opinion, is negative mainstream media coverage of empty stands, or a “fan strike,” etc. I believe Ross pays attention to mainstream media.
Yeah but I mean at this point, as a seasoned poster, you have to just “get” that we will have 15% of all posts and posters will be stupid. And sometimes a non stupid poster will post stupid.

It’s a silly premise to want the team to lose.. even those people don’t actively root for a loss.

Anyways, disagree on the ticket share though - I do think if a report shows ticket sales are down 15-20% some notable amount it is a cause for concern… if it becomes a media covered thing… well that would be any and all owners.

This simply isn't accurate. There are those here who not only want the team to lose for the sole purpose of getting rid of Grier and McDaniel (which is their prerogative), but also think that those who don't agree with them are being selfish or don't want Miami to win a Super Bowl, which is so crazy that it inspired this thread.

It's not hard to find.
