And many of the other WR that have been FA . Every time I have said lets sign someone I get tons of crap saying if they were good they wouldnt be Free Agents. Well they have to be better than the filth we put out there today. It doesnt matter how strong Penny arm is if we cant get open. Do I hear anyone saying CHAD JACKSON. And Wilford should be starting. Just cause he had a bad camp and preseason means nothing. Alot of players arent good in practice. He is a gamer and proved it in JAx esp when they never throw. Camarillo sux and I have never liked him. Just because he scored last year everyone wants him around. He couldnt start or even see playing time on any of the other teams in the NFL. I am still for Keyshawn making a comeback. But anyways Adarius BOwman is still in Canada and would be happy to come here. We let Ashley Lelie, Darrell Jackson, Berrian, J Gage, Stallworth, Gaffney, David Givens, J McCariens, D Patten, DJ Hackett, B Johnson, Devrey Henderson. I mean cmon any of these guys are better than Hagan and Cammy. LEts get with the program. Also why did the FO say they were satisfied with the CB situation. We suck at CB we couldnt even defend 2 jump balls that Favre lobbed in the air. GARBAGE. We should have drafted a WR and CB. We could have got a couple of decent players in the draft. the Browns waived Paul Hubbard yesterday. I think this kid was real good in college it owuldnt hurt to bring him in . The Seahawks are going to be looking for Wr also so we need to make a move. Hopefully the Jags will release Troy Williamson once Porter can play. Sammie Parker is still out there. ROYDELL WILLIAMS is a good WR and would be a good pickup. Devin Aromashodu is still out there. Brandon Williams, Reche Caldwell, Biren Ealy, Justin Harper,Anthony Mix. And can we sign Monk off the Giants Practice Squad. Sorry its so long but damn Im tired of sucking. Our Wr have sucked for a while. Exception of Welker but no one could thrwo it too him. And Chambers couldnt catch a cold here. But now hes freakin Jerry Rice. Go figure.
 
Bowman is playing in my hometown right now, dont think he would even be close to an upgrade. There are better options then him. Trust me.

he proved nothing in jacksonville other than he's a mediocre wr who can't even get 600 yds a season.. they were a running team because they had stiffs at wr like ernest wilford, if they had talent they'd throw more..
 
It wouldn't made an ounce of a difference in this game. So no. I still say your wrong. And im still right.
 
OMG...the names you put out there are no better than what we have? Keyshawn coming out of retirement?! Never mind having to get in shape...HE'D HAVE TO LEARN THE OFFENSE. Any new receiver would be two months behind everyone else. Lelie - although I think he's signed anyway - has been dropped by three teams now.

Let's get serious. We have what we have. The time for upgrading the team is over. They will improve as the season goes on, but this is our team - for better or worse.
 
I think Bowman is worth a chance he has looked good when used in canada
 
I wouldn't blast you, but I certainly don't agree. You don't win Super Bowls through free agency, you win them through the draft. This is a rebuilding year. That point seems to be lost for most people. We are NOT a playoff team this season. That idea needs to be thrown out of the window right now. We are a young team, in year 1 of a rebuild. Signing an aging veteran, or another teams cuts, to large contracts will not help that process, only hurt it. We are doing this the right way. Be patient this season, it'll look better as the season progresses, and we'll start to see the effect of it starting next season......

we could have drafted a wr in the draft. The wr's will not look much better, Bess is a backup at best, Hagan is dissapointing and Ginn is basically all we got

You don't rebuild in one season. We solidified our DL for sure this season, and after the OL has time to gel, I'm sure it'll be pretty solid as well. Next offseason we'll see WR and the secondary addressed more thoroughly I'm sure. Signing another team's trash is gonna do nothing but hinder the growth of our young guys, which is the opposite of what you want to do right now......
 
I'd much rather finish with 4/5/6 wins and develope Ginn, Bess, Hagen and
Camerila(sp?) then bring in a stop gap at WR.
 
Would they have been able to stop our right side OL from collapsing almost every play? Would they have been able to cover the endlessly open WRs? We had far bigger problems than WR, but I saw a team that was a hell of a lot better than last year.

We could have drafted a receiver late instead of two runningbacks. That is a lame excuse.
