I wonder if we could trade Porter to the KC Chiefs since Parcells son in law is the man over there.

Does KC have anyone they would be willing to get rid of that we need?

I think it could definately be an option since they seem to have a good relationship, me personally just give us our 5th back.

I don't think we can trade him for anything.

If he keeps doing interviews, I KNOW we won't be able to get anything for him.

we probably wont be able to get anything for him but if we could set up a package to get him to go to KC and get Dwayne Bowe to somehow come to miami i would be all for it

We cant unload him to any team. Everyone knows he is on the decline, has nagging injuries every year, is a huge loudmouth, and eventhough there is no cap in 2010, nobody is going to pay his roster bonus ans salary for 2010.

At this point we should have included him in the trade to Cleveland for the dam Capologist.

I disagree, his roster bonus is $1m, that is not huge in today's NFL and especially in an uncapped year. I would be shocked if they can't get something for him even a 7th or a conditional 2011 pick. If they trade him they can determine where he goes, if they cut him he can go anywhere.

I understand your point regarding the cap but there is still an economic issue. I think his salary alone is 3.8 million (correct me if i am wrong). Its like us paying 20k for an old beat up Ford Pinto. You just dont do it.

We trade him for a conditional 1 or 2lb bag of chips to either the Rams or Lions (with the condition that there's a penalty for them going ahead and flipping him).. This should send a message to Crowder and anyone else that you need to keep your mouth shut or live with and in the consequences. Exiling him to Siberia for the sake of making a policy statement is worth it considering his big mouth and diminishing skill set.

we would have to pay him the bonus if he is on the team march 5th i believe and that is when we can also start trading also but i believe we would have to pay him the bonus if he isnt cut before march 5

Problem is he won't go there. He will create problems before it happens and will probably threaten to not show up. He has said he wants to play for a West Coast team which means he wants to be closer to family. That takes the Chiefs and definitely the Jets out of play!

Parcells wouldn't do that to family!
