lets say dc is ready opening day. Do you guys think that he will be rusty and might cost us a couple of games just trying to get back into form? and lets face it he was not playing that well when he went down last year! my biggest concern is that he will not be healthy enough to get a couple of preseason games in to work off the rust!! I hope he is healthy and ready to lead us to a home date in the superbowl!!!

thoughts please.

I think he'll be ready but I'm not his conditioning coach so I do not know.

He might be a little rusty, but he already knows the offense, and a rusty Daunte is better than a non rusty Gus!!

I think he'll be ready. Nick will bring him along slowly anyway. Nick and Mularky will install alot of running plays (hopefully to Ronnie and Ricky).
Nick will not let Daute' jeopardize the games.:cooldude:

Well, he was my fantasy QB last year and he KILLED me the first few weeks of the season. I am hoping that he will pick up where he left off last season.

i hope he's ready for the season opener, but in all reality... I don't think he'll be starting until week 4 of the regular season.

I think an off week early in the season could be good for us this year as well.

I don't think he'll be rusty. He hurt his leg not his arm.I'm sure the coaching staff will have him practicing in non contact drills to get him ready for the season.

i hope he is the qb we all have been wanting since dan left!!

Two words, Ronnie Brown... The man can run, take a hit, catch the ball better then some WRs out there, and can get those hard earned yards... All DC has to do is screen it out a couple of times for big gains...

I think come September, all will be good...
