That Channing Crowder could finnaly elavate his game..right now he is a great ILB but needs someone better like maybe Brandon Spikes next year???..but he has the size and speed to do nice but needs to be more disruptive...IMO he could very well be a pro bowler next year...but if not BRANDON SPIKES is ours
 
Sure hope so. He's solid enough now, but I hope he gets to that next level. He's no Cox/Offerdahl. It will be interesting to see how he reacts after his shiny new contract.
 
Yeah i think he has the ability to he is a very Solid tackler...he just needs to work on he Pass rushing and coverage IMO
If he does thats another need no longer needed

He seems to tackle well in the box, but, not in the open field for some reason. Maybe that's a mistaken observation, but, from what I've seen, that's what I think. I think he's topped out, myself. He's a good player for us. I really, really think we made a big mistake not getting a higher rated ILB to at least groom this year. I just get this sick feeling when I think about an injury to AA or Crowder, because we've got nothing behind them.

I'm thinking Roth could play ILB, it's been talked about on here before..... he has good size/strength sheds blocks well and is a good tackler. Not as fast as I'd like in the middle but idk something tells me he'd be pretty good in the middle.

You are probally right but you never know he could domiate this year..but if not Brandon Spikes must be on top of the list or at least 2 cause im sure Suh is on the top of there board and cody 3 or 4 so well see next year
 
I don't know if Channing can elevate his game but he did pretty well for us last year being that he encountered a lot of first last season. It was the first time in his career that he didn't have Zach Thomas next to him and had to take responsibility for his own play. It was also the first time he actually watched film of the opposition, it was the first time he played the MIKE LB position, it was the first time he was looked upon as being a leader on defense and call plays.
With this being his second year in this defensive scheme, Crowder should be more comfortable in his role and just be able to go out there and play instead of thinking so much of what he is supposed to do.

Now if he can just create some turnovers.
 
let me get this straight, people automatically assume that a guy like spikes who hasnt played an nfl down is better than crowder??
 
Crowder already very good & has the potential to be much more
big things will be expected of him this year
tremendous amount of competition in the LB corp

His big problem is that he has a severe problem in coverage, but I would love to see him on the inside, I also have a very good feeling about him inside, as long as he can shed the wieght enough to be in the 250-260 range.

he's who i want us to draft...he's a playmaker at the ILB position...
