Well, I definitely do! And so does most of the fan base. We did have a top defense last year...and I expect better things this year. So.......get off our coaches *** for defensive players we do or dont cut. We are loaded with talent on D. Our depth will really help us late in the season.

I really like what I saw form Nolan's scheming last year. I'm hoping that under his coordination we go from a bend not break unit, to a break the other team's ****ing neck unit!

Nolan doesn't make personnel moves.

Getting Nolan is the best move this FO has made in the last 4 years.

P.S. if Sparano gets canned I hope we make Nolan our HC mainly b/c I want the continuity on D. I think we would take a major step back if/when he leaves.

What's there not to like? .. He transformed an inept Pasqualoni ragtag squad, not just into a respectable unit, but one that's close to elite. And that's saying A LOT considering how awful our offense was in keeping them off the field and rested.

exactly. I think our D is gonna be even scarier, now that we *hopefully* have an offense that can keep the D off the field for longer than 2 minutes

Exactly. I wanted to start this thread bc too many people are dwelling on the Edds cut and Spitler still on the team. Nolan and our D are completely fine.

Mike Nolan will be the next dolphins head coach... tony s. unwavering support you henning last year alienatted his dolphins fanbase last year, I was dreadful to watch that offense and he didn't man up and say the OC sucked!!!!

if daboll turns this offense around, it may just be him. but if this offense is very successful as well as this team, TS goes nowhere. its just how it works, if it aint broke, you dont go trying to fix what you just did.

regardless of how much the crappy fanbase of south florida is.

Its all perspective.

The world I live in says TS DID man up and take it on the chin instead of stating the obvious and throwing an old friend under the bus..... just saying.

I have been saying for a year, Nolan was our best off-season acquisition. Better than Marshall, even better than Dansby.

He is a difference maker.

He not only took a band of mis-fits that had just had its two pillars cut and turned it into a VERY good defense, but he did it in one freakin season.
I would also be EXTREMELY surprised if he doesnt weigh in very heavily on defensive personel. Not sure he would've signed a contract that wouldnt let him actually. His bread and butter is dependent on it.

All that being said, I hope he is our DC for a decade but never head coach. He was about as bad as a HC can be while in the "Gay Bay".

Nolan is one of the best thing going for the Fins.

Too bad the FO left him with little to no depth in the DB backfield.

Some of you are either smoking too much of that crap that Ricky smokes, or are plain desperate and blind in your views of a franchise. How can you elevate a guy who won 18 games in 4 seasons to head coach? Or Daboll, a guy with no head coaching experience at all and hasn't held a title no better than Quarterbacks coach prior to being the Browns offensive coordinator.

He doesnt force players into his system. He develops a system for the players he has. What's not to like about him.
