Do you like Mike Nolan?

One thing about Nolan's defense in Denver is that it was great in year one too . Year two started out badly for him. That's when McDaniel wanted him too stop blitzing all the time. McDaniel thought the opposing offenses had caught up to his defense. McDaniel mishandled Nolan but alot of den beat writers and blogs thought it too. I think we have better talent than den had on D though.

Yeah, he's dreamy!

I think I must be missing the point of this thread, because are there any Dolphins fans that don't like Nolan?

Hammer hits the nail.

I think its hilarious that whenever Sparano makes a bone headed move people automatically start up threads saying "HEY! Dont forget that one time he brought in a competant coordinator that was so totally awesome! That makes up for all the other horrific decisions Sparano has ever made!".

As far as the "our defense will be fine either way" song and dance...wasting draft picks is fun. Its not like we could have used those picks for any other player or situation(trades, future draft picks, etc), right?

Well, I definitely do! And so does most of the fan base. We did have a top defense last year...and I expect better things this year. So.......get off our coaches *** for defensive players we do or dont cut. We are loaded with talent on D. Our depth will really help us late in the season.

You answered your thread question right outta the gate.

now that you mention it, Aj Edds doesn't get released unless Nolan approved it.

He definitely has a big say on who fits his system. Dont put the defensive cuts all on ireland and sparano.

Im really tired of seeing this excuse(and it is 100% an excuse) pop up.

Alot of questionable things have occured under this regime. Alot of mind boggling moves have happened. Things that have no place in the realm of logic. And there is one common theme: they have all happened while Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland have been in charge.

No more blaming Henning. No more finger pointing at Parcells. No more accusations at coach P. No more scapegoats, no more conspiracy theories, no more twisted logic that somehow exonerates the front office just because it sounds like it could "possible" happen.

At the end of the day, there isn't a damn thing that happens to this roster or on the field decisions that doesnt go through Tony Sparano. At the end of the day, every single personel move that occurs does so with the say so of Jeff Ireland.

Alot of questionable things have happened to this team the last few years. And they have all happened under Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland. Without a doubt, they are responsible. End of story.
