Do you think Lorenzo Booker is a good pick

I do like the pick of booker. We dont know what will happen with ricky, and ronnie is the only other back on the roster. I just question if he still wouldnt have been avail in the 4th.

I think he was a great pick simply due to the strict laws the new Commish is laying down. The Fins did not know the fate of Ricky, so they had to look at the current roster without him. Now I am glad they did and drafted Booker. I think he will be trade bait within 2 or 3 years. He will get us a 2nd or more depending on his contract terms and playing up to the level that I think he can for us. But even if we do not trade him and Ricky comes back this season. I do not see Ricky playing many more years and wanting to be on the west coast.

Good pick. Speed kills....along with Ginn, Booker will add a dimension of speed that will make defenses play on their heels. I'm confident that Cam has that in his plans.

Michael Bush was still available, i much rather would've had him instead

Booker was a disapointment in college -- so what is he going to be in the pro's?

yeah ... i know Bush is a big, strong back like Ronnie Brown is...

but he's faster and will probably be a better pro than Brown is going to be ... so he has a bum leg you say? ... take a look at Frank Gore with 2 blown ACL's and Willis McGahee who had his left snapped in half. those guys are franchise backs now and we not as heralded as Bush was

we could've stole him in the 3rd and then used our 4th rounder on some more line help

Booker is Travis Minor 2.0

I love the pick, IMO booker will be a much better pro than he was a college prospect, i mean for godsake he played at florida state with no quaterback and no offense line blocking and a offensive coord. that we could game plan against. Our backfield just made a big upgrade. Cam is getting players to fit his style of offense. We've got a fullback who can catch as well as block, a fast brusing running back, and a change of pace third down back who excells cathing the screen pass. ( neal, turner, LT) knock off brand of course.

On The Film I Saw He Look Like The Guy From Ptssburg, Parker, Fast, Shifty, Able To Run The Big Play. So I Like The Pick.

He's either Travis Minor 2.0 or Warrick Dunn / Fred Taylor.

Note: Minor was a 2nd round pick before.

The guy is shifty as heck. With a good o-line he'll be productive. With a bad o-line, he won't run through defenders like a Ricky or Ronnie.

Give him some good holes and it's lights out.

A video is posted on u-tube showing the guy running backwards to avoid a tackle... Travis Minor never did this. A little bit Barry Sander's like.

Anybody remember this video of "Reggie Brooks"... the guy who started ahead of Jerome Bettis at Notre Dame(Anybody know what I'm talking about?)

Poor man's Reggie Bush... Bowdens offense was a shambles the entire time Booker was there. They didn't use Leon Washington properly there either, and he was very productive for the jets. Like the pick a lot. Booker is faster and shiftier than Travis Minor...that compasison isnt fair.

Ahh, Ricky will be back. After the comish looked over guys with 12 run ins with the law and a beat down of a dancer in front of a crowd Ricky will look like a citizen of the year canidate!

This was a GREAT pick! After watching this guy on film. He was also SUPER productive in high school. He was the number one recruit in the country coming out of high school. The funny thing is so was Tedd Ginn. Ginn dominated every national allstar game he was in MVP in all of them. And the guy was the national DEFENSIVE player of the year! He could play corner for us and wants to (obviously that would take some time - but he's done it and the kid is incredible). We just picked up maybe the two best athletes in this draft. By the way Ginn was also two time national 110M hurdle champ and could have qualified for the olympics. We get Ricky back and the weapons we have on offense are going to be SCARY!!! The only question this team has is do we get good QB play - if we do, and don't get hit with the injury bug we are a playoff team!
