They're many possibilities. One being chemistry. (our defensive front is going to be a monstrosity of men who will, time and again, nail down the head of the opposing quarterbacks) The offensive line for the other sqad will hustle but fail they will experience utter weakness physically/mentally.
Once again we're too good to not win at least 7 or 8 games. But we'll probably lose a few close games that a great team would win, so its unlikely we'll have an easy in to the playoffs. It'll probably be the same ole same ole with us needing key wins in December that we fail to pull out. We did get incredibly lucky with the schedule though, we could get off to a hot start and we may not have to play a single cold weather game this season.
After the roster purge and our additions via free agency/the draft we are 2-3 games better than we were last year. We lost a few games last year on the last drive of the game. With the team we've built this year I can honestly say I think we win those games down the stretch with Suh playing a major role and causing havoc for the opposing offense. If we had Suh last season we're in the playoffs, so with the addition of Suh, the same defense we put on the field last year, and an upgraded offense we're def playoff bound.
Way too early, but with how much the other teams in our division have improved, our final game stretch (given our recent history in finishing seasons...), continued depth issues, and Philbin, I'm not overly confident at this point. Still time, but seems like 2016 is the target (always next year...).
