Do you think our secondary will be better next year??

Our secondary has really taken some hits this offseason thus far with the loss of Madison and everyone else not named Daniels. And the rumor seems to be Schulters wont be resigned either. Poole is still a guy coming back from major knee surgery to fulfill some promise he showed in the 2004 season. And our first round selection could be on an offensive lineman. Plus, our offseaon targets thus far have been d-lineman and QB's.

When does our secondary get better? Do you think Saban is planning on coaching up the group or is there some immediate impact free agent out there we will target in the secondary? Or perhaps our first round selection has become without question a DB, and if so whom?

Do you think our secondary will be better next year? The same? Or worse?

Perhaps we should wait and see what the secondary looks like after FA and the draft ?? It's way too early to worry much about the secondary just yet...hang in there...it'll happen...

I think it will be better. From my understanding Saban's defense is confusing, so with another year under their belt I think our DB's will be a lot better.

Like the guy said, lets wait and see who they get in free agency and the draft. Its too early to tell right now. Some people are too eager and want to know the answers right away.

Well it seems as though we are looking at everything in FA BUT DB.

Now Mawae, Ashworth, and Bentley are on the list we are looking at. (Granted Bentley seems to already be committed elsewhere.)

So I'm thinking our first rd pick may be used on a corner. And there will be plenty to choose from at #16 that have 1st round talent.

Jimmy Williams (if there, doubt it)
Tye Hill
Ashton Youboty
Antonio Cromartie

3 of these 4 will likely be available when we pick, me personally being a Buckeyes fan would take Youboty

then Cromartie, then Hill (I don't look into 40 times much.)

As for after that, theres still plenty of corners I would want later in the draft.

I'm from Tennessee (as my description says) and the Dolphins should really look at Jason Allen, barring his injury last year he was a beast. I don't know what Allen's projected round will be, but I'm guessing 2nd or 3rd, maybe some of you know, but I think he would be a steal at those rounds because I believe he's first round quality.
