Do you think Paracells leave next year

I mean, do you think it will leave us in a bad position? Can Sparano and Ireland takeover where Paracells left off? Now we all know when the boss leaves or when you get promoted you get this new ability af power do you think if Paracells left that the rest of the staff will stray from what are gameplan is now.

He said he'll leave when he thinks this team is in place to contend for the Superbowl, and I believe next year is the last year of the "project" so it may all just fall into place.
 
i think he likes drafting alot.. I wouldn't be suprised if he was like "eh, one more draft, this is the most fun ever."
I hope however Parcells leaves, he retires in Miami.
I'd hate to see him go okay i want to walk away, I'm old, and then go rebuild the Lions.
As long as he retires in a Phins Polo and straw hat, I'm happy
 
I think he will honor the full three years for sure and maybe even tag on for 2 more...I think the Dolphins are his new Lawrence Taylor, his new project so to speak. As a first time head honcho of operations he only leaves once we are championship material I think. He is already established himself as one of the best minds ever in football like Bill Walsh, Don Shula, and Vince Lombardi. Now he wants to build a legacy under his name and ride off into the sunset as one the most accomplished coaches/people in NFL history.
 
I think he is having to much fun.
He sits in the big office and call the shots
no pressure on him really.
he calls the menue / shop for the goods and leave it up to the coaches to cook it up and serve the dinner.
if it don't come out right......{parcells} "they cooked it wrong"
 
I honestly think it wont matter for you guys when he leaves. I actually get annoyed how the media is all about Parcells and never really about Sparano and Ireland. I think he is guiding them not calling the shots. It would be nice to hear them talk about the dolphins front office not just Parcells...

I agree man, it's like they always make it out to seem like he's coaching the team and if that's the case it's kind of counter prht oductive. The other night i was watching NFL Total Access when they we're interviewing Jason Taylor and he's talking about how him and Sporano have a good relationship because he kept straight forward with him the whole way. All of sudden Rich Eisens says something like "Enough about little tuna, let's talk about big tuna." Give the guy some ****ing credit for real.
 
I have a feeling that he will leave at the end of this year. But hopefully he leaves after the draft if 2010 ... But he still did a great job here.
 
Hopefully he gives us at least one more year. I wouldn't be dissapointed if he goes off to help another struggling team, so long as he finishes the job here. I'm not selfish like that, as long as it's not an AFCE foe.
 
Hell if he left tomorrow we'd still have to admit he left the team in a heck of alot better condition than when he found it......
I think the foundation has been poured, so i think, even if he left, we would stay the same or similar course that we are on.
 
Parcells said on SIRIUS NFL RADIO in Feb that he would stay for 2 NFL drafts and see them through the season. So, YES he is leaving. I think because he said it on SIRIUS nobody heard it or reported it, but it was said. SIRIUS NFL RADIO plays the clip sometimes as bumpers in and out of commericals.

I think what was said is that he promised Wayne that he would be around for at least two drafts. It is possible he sticks around longer since he has an open clause on his contract. He probably won't be able to get that from any other team. He has the perfect job and he doesn't have to deal with the every day hardships that comes with a coach or GM.

With that said, I think it is 50/50 that he returns in 2010. If this team wins the Super Bowl, he is definitely out the door. Otherwise, I could see him sticking around for one more draft and free agency.

I do fear for the franchise when he does in fact leave. I think Ireland and Sparano can definitely handle things on their own. I just fear what he will do to this team if he leaves and accepts a similar role with another NFL team. He is likely going to do to us what he did to the Cowboys. Our coaching staff could be raided and he will likely target some of our free agents and try to swindle us on trades. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to another team that he hires someone like David Lee or Todd Bowles to be his head coach. Also, guys like Kacy Rodgers could follow him.
 
I wouldnt be shocked to see him leave after this year.
I wouldnt be shocked to see him stay 3 more years.
He is getting a lot of money living in Mia where he loves it and seems to love the guys he is working with.
 
I do not feel that next season he'll leave, but the one after that one he will be gone.
