Evans could be cut if we find somebody at another position that could help us (i.e. K. Thomas)? I read where Saban said in his PC that it's hard to run the ball if you don't have good blocking from your FB and TE and it seems that Saban likes his blocking. I'm just thinking that w/ Eckel, Evans, and Morris, that is one too many guys that can be used at FB IMO. Again, I'm assuming here that Saban considers Eckel a better blocker than Evans.

I doubt it. Evans is needed for depth and he's good when it comes to blocking (He opened up a hole for Ronnie Brown to make a very good gain during the last PS game).

Morris will prob be listed as a HB now, paving the way for T. Minor to be released when/if (who knows at this point) we sign K. Thomas.
