Do you want the Jills to win or lose before we face them? Because if they win they are on a high and may be over confident. If they lose they have something to prove. But in any case they could still make mistakes. I would say I hope they lose. If they lose they want blood and come out too emotional and make mistakes starting the game, especially against a division rival. Your thoughts.

This is my first ever thread that I have started, so please take it easy on the rookie. :)
 
if the bills loose to the saints the remaining season will look very bad.

if the bills loose to the saints AND miami.... it will be down hill from there.

the next 2 games are VERY important to the bills.

if i were a fin fan, i would want the bills to loose bad. i dont see us "having something to prove... fight it out feeling" with spikes gone, and JP not throwing well.
 
i always want the bills, jets and pats to lose... the more losses the better... their mindstate coming in will have no effect on us, as long as we play our game and play smarter they wont beat us
 
Win. If the Jets would've beaten KC in their first game we would've beaten them too. I want the complacency that comes after a win, not the hunger that comes after a loss.

You could argue that a win inspires more confidence in the following game, and that makes sense, but I think these guys' level of confidence fluctuates a lot less than their complacency/hunger.

I think any team believes it can beat any other team on any given day, so confidence isn't an issue in the NFL. Complacency/hunger is, though. You see it every week. Carolina was really hungry to beat the Pats, and they were a little complacent coming off that win. Jets lost to KC and were really hungry to play us.
 
i wouldn't root for the jets, bills, or pats unless they were playing a team that we needed to lose to get to the playoffs or something

Exactly what I was thinking. I can think of some weird playoff scenario's but other than that may they be crushed like an empty soda can every week.
 
Does not matter to me one way or the other. We simply need to focus on beating the hell out of them the following week.

I don't know about that. If Buffalo can't beat NO, I think the wheels start comin off, if J.P. continues to struggle, the knives will be out to replace him inside the lockerroom. They could mentally be in a bad place in they lose this week.
 
I hope the Bills, Jets & Pats lose every game, even when they play each other. ???
 
A close loss, a blowout might motivate them. A real heartbreaker perhaps a losman pick6 in the last few seconds while leading :evil:

Yeah but what better than a home game that would be considered somewhat of an upset if won as an opportunity to put the wheels back on? If the Bills were 2-9 after losing to the Saints that'd be a different story -- they'd be on a total downslide. But knowing they could salvage a 1-3 start with a win at home would be a big motivator.
