I have very mixed emotions about this. On one hand, he could stay in shape and continue to be in football condition if he goes to Toronto and plays football there. On the other hand, he could get injured, or possibly regress because of the coaching or lesser-calibur of talent. He might be better just staying with us over the off-season and working with our training staff to stay in shape.

Saban also seems to be undecided about the deal as well, and has questioned whether or not he will sign the waiver to allow Ricky to go to Canada.

I, of course, will agree with whatever Saban thinks is appropriate. But, right now, would you like to see him go to Canada and play football this year?

I think it's a good idea, his luck has been so bad that I think it's time for good now... he's not an injury prone player and the staying in shape is positive. Needless to say the Argos will be winning the Grey Cup this year if he does play... :) As far as regressing I can't see it. The calibur of players in comparison to the NFL is quite different of course, as the CFL doesn't have the resources/coaching like the NFL, and Hockey is the religion preeched to highschool kids. But it is a totally different game as well so I think his talent will plateau at worst. He'll be a REAL BEAST, DAT FO SHO!!

Whatever the case I wish him luck and if he does play I will be there to cheer him on as I only live 15min north of the Falls!! 1 hour from Toronto.

Anything to keep Ricky's mind off the weed...too much free time causes bad things to happen.

While suspended, he cannot even be on the field/in the training room with the rest of the team no?? If that the case, let him go play there and stay in shape. Remember by the time we got him back, he had to gain 20 lbs

I think it would be cool, I'd actually watch some CFL games just to see Ricky dominate the league.

it would be best for him i think.....also id become an argo fan :D

I would be all for it. I mean it would keep him in a structured environment. It would help him stay out of trouble, keep him in playing shape. I also honestly think that Saban might actually go for this. Granted he could get injured, but I think the positives outweigh the negatives. And it would be funny to see his highlights on SportsCenter, after he ran for 238 yards on 12 carries, seeing him run over some poor guy.

Im from Canada and Ricky is my favorite all-time player! I'm not gettin to Miami anytime soon so lol so I can actually have a chance to see him play! Toronto is about a 4 hour drive from where im at so I can go up for a weekend and see him play.......so 100% yes from me

yeah i would want him to play if he has the chance coz he will get match pratice and stay in fit and in shape hopefully to come back better than ever in 2007 for the phins go ricky

The Miami Dolphins wish Ricky Williams good luck with all his future endeavors!:D
