if there's a chance of moving Eckel to RB with the lack of RBs? especially if we trade Williams. Also, has there been any news of Miami drafting a RB like Antonio Pittman or Tony Hunt in the later rounds? I'm jw cause i dont see Miami trading Ricky and just running it with Ronnie all season.

I know it's doubtful, but I'd love to see what happens if Adrian Peterson is still on the board come pick #9 given the so-called weight issues w/Ronnie and the traveling-circus that is Ricky Williams...

i forgot all about Eckel. do u guys think that Kyle Eckel will eventually become our young, i guess ud call it "franchise FB". or do u think we'll end up drafting one? im thinking with Cory Schlesinger on board, he can groom Eckel into a good run blocker..

i dont think id be happy taking peterson although i do think the guy is an absolute stud and much better than ronnie

I agree with that completely, and is what I have been pondering myself.

As for Eckel, hes strictly a fullback. And he's staying in that position. Eckel to fill Ricky's shoes? thats laughable.

I think sence Miami has to wait till after the draft to find out if they even let Ricky back in the NFL at all, and no team trades up to get A.Peterson so Miami can trade down, with Landry, Russell, C.J, Thomes, Okoye and G.Adams all gone then I would not be upset at all if Miami went and got A.Peterson with the first pick! Because these seven are all pro bowl players, if not hall a fame's players! So we should not pass on any of these 7 players! Everybody else might be a bust with are first pick at number 9th in the draft! It can't hurt us at all!! It would be just as good as a WR! If anything we can trade one of are RB's for a pick next year!
