That the Saints could be a really good team at least offensively, now the the Texans have offically signed Mario Willams the saints draft Reggie Bush, to go along with Deuce Mcallister, Joe Horn, and huge upgrade at QB in Brees and Donte Stallworth who should live up to his potential now that he has a good quarterback throwing him the ball.

If the Saints sign Bush, I think Deuce is bye bye.

I think the Saints are going to end up trading with either Green Bay or the Jets and then selecting either D'Brick or Hawk

I wasn't aware the Drew Brees had proved he can still throw the ball well.

I don't the Packers have the $$$ to sign Bush.

No

SEGAL PLANNING A BAYOU POWER PLAY
A league source tells us that agent Joel Segal plans to take the position that tailback Reggie Bush will not play for the New Orleans Saints.
The move, the source surmises, is aimed at allowing Segal to save some face after blowing Bush's shot to be the first overall pick in the draft.

^^ Either has Daunte Culpepper or Brett Favre.

I don't think the Saints will be good offensively, they still lack a legitimate No. 2 receiver and have a mediocre offensive line without it's anchor in LeCharles Bentley.

I think Bush will go to the Titans and the Jets will have to chose between Leinart and Young...probably take Leinart. The Jets are going to have to cough up a lot to move up to #2. I can't see it happening.

I say the Saints pick D'Brick for #2. Titans pick Matt Leinart for #3. And sadly, Reggie Bush is chosen by the Jets at #4. :shakeno: I'm so worried about having to face Reggie Bush twice a year.

I don't know, but I can almost guarantee the Saints will pick Leinart or some other QB.

Drew Brees has been sent to the seventh circle of Hell, where he will be doomed to repeat his past, that of constantly being chased by a top ten drafted QB and stabbed in the back by his "team."

I definetly think the packers will trade up to get Bush, no doubt about it. You have to think Favre is pushing for that, watch out for the Packers this year they may have something going up there in green bay. Thank goodness we only have to play them once and its at home.

The Pack just paid big $$$ for Charles Woodson, and Favre has a bonus due...I don't think the Pack has the money.

they will figure something out, they need that explosion on offense. They arent completly out of cap room.

Regardless of the who, why or how's..... this single event just created havoc in the Top 5. This is one of those "toss everything out the window" scenarios that has every team in the Top 5 scrambling to rethink their strategies. It's not just about maneuvering to get Bush..... this is going to destroy MANY scenarios previously thought to exist. Teams like the Saints and Titans now have to ponder heavier.... "can we still get our guy if we trade down". Because, I'm sure a few teams would LOVE a shot at #2 right about now.

This changes EVERYTHING.

Personally.... I think the real "threat" to move up is San Fran. They've got 2 #1s plus the additional pick this year from the 2 they got in the Lloyd trade.

Tell me Nolan isn't growing an ulcer right now trying to debate "should we" "shouldn't we". I see them as the best team suited to move up and pay the money. They've lost Peterson and are currenty without a real identity as a team. Stick Bush behind Smith and suddenly, they can score and be competitve. Those 2 1st's this year really helps them make it happen now.

I agree about your 49ers logic. Alex Smith needs help offensively. Its obvious he can not put the team on his back and when games on his own right now. Bush would give them an added factor that can take all the pressure off Smith. If they don't pick Bush they will probably try to go TE.
