does anyone have news on vontae davis or sean smiths contract?

thanks for bringing this up. I'd like to know as well. I don't want any holdouts. We know how it ended up for Jason Allen 3 seasons ago....not that it would have mattered lol...
 
The phins are not signing the higher round picks right now. According to the news media the agents for Smith and Davis have not been in contact ragarding the contracts yet. Give it at least a week of so to expect anything.
 
No news = who knows other than agents and management. We need to get on the ball and get the pix signed soon. No BS – get the kids in camp…
 
still plenty of time to get these guys under contract no need to push the panic button, now if we are still having this conversation july 30, then it may be time to sweat a bit

We have a little over a month to sign them, its plenty of time. Plus Ireland has to figure out the absolute best deal with these guys to keep us under the cap
 
Probably wont be any news until most of the players drafted before him sign first.
 
Ya there is no need to worry now. We are going to focus on signing the lower round picks and UDFA for now. Wait until the middle of July before negotiations really start to get going.

I don't see Sean Smith being a problem. But since Vontae Davis is a first rounder, his agent is going to be pushing to get as much as possible and i would say there is small chance he is a holdout.

And the Pat White negotiations, just because he is somewhat of an enigma, will be interesting. Since he is a QB, his agent will be asking for top-dollar.

At least it will make for an interesting storyline for a lackluster summer for us true Dolfans.
 
i'd except clemons and that 7th round guy to be signed real soon. no one in the 1st except the two big qbs have yet.
