I heard a lot about this guy when we picked him up, and now that McDougle is demoted, when will we see him starting.
Does anyone know about Middleton?

Isn't he a RG? Hadnot seems to have a firm grip on that job.
Middleton will be the main backup at RG. He won't crack the starting lineup.

The thing with Middleton is he's a player that needs to be in shape to be effective. He's a good powerful guard when he's in shape which isnt often. I know alot of Raider fans that broke it down like this about the guy. When he's in shape he's a B/ B+ guard. When he's out of shape he's a C/C- guard

If Middleton gets in shape wouldn't Saban move Hadnot to C and then insert Middleton at RG?

The problem with moving Hadnot to center is he can't make the line calls the way McKinney can. I think Hadnot's time at center may be next year. I'm pretty sure the coaching staff is going to keep teaching Hadnot the mental aspects of the center position during the season ( although at a much slower pace due to the fact that he'll be playing guard).
