this is going to be good :d-day:. Can't wait to hear the usual "I really FELT Thomas out there." "Henne had a GREAT game" "the offensive line looked GOOD" and of course the famous "the defense is FIXABLE". He will also go on to say that he doesn't understand how we continue to lose games at home and "the CLOCK is ticking for Cleveland so the players won't be talking about the loss against Houston."

Am I forgetting anything?

I'm pretty sure he knows he's going to be fired. Anything he really says today is his typical "everyone played well" BS.

The stream's been borked, cutting in and out, but here's what I heard:

Praised Daniel Thomas, says he will get better
Praised Pouncey and Incognito, no word on the turnstile (Colombo)
Despite mistakes, says Nolan Carroll is a good player and has confidence in him
No word on Vontae Davis and Karlos Dansby injuries
Happy with the pass rush but wants to see more

Claims that we played better yesterday than on the Monday nighter, improved but "still got work to do"

Sparano will be live on The Finsiders later today.

Alright, I did not catch all of the press confrence but this is what he said that I did hear:
*Sporano said he was happy with Nolan Carrol's play. Said he is always around the ball
*Said we hit the QB a lot was happy with the pressure
*We won a lot of our 1 on 1 match ups on D
*Happy with the offense (chunk yards)
Jeesus, its going to be a long season...

what really shock me was how this guy praised nolan carroll after carroll gave up that touchdown to johnson and also would have gave up another had johnson held on to the ball. What i got from this interview was an extremely stressed out coach who doesnt wanna put his team down but deep down he really does not know what to do and has probably thought about withdrawing as the head coach of the miami dolphins. He is lost..

What TS forgot to say was "I am totally lost and therefore I must tender my resignation immediately".

Roflmao! You got that right fist pump chump! Carroll is always around the ball to bad it is in our damn endzone!

The worst coach speak is "we left a few plays on the field today"... I HATE that ****. Also the words "chunk yards" reminds me of the word "transparency" during the Obama campaign..

didn't sparano say "I dont have any answers?"

What did he answer? From what I make out of it he got up there and spewed some garbage about how he thought insert crap player played well. He just proves that is clueless again! Look at Mike Tomlin after a bad game he doesn't go.searching for moral victories! He calls out the garbage! Guess what players respond fix it and win!

your right he is lost ,he didnt even want to give the press confrence to the media , he held his head down and didnt want to face the media ,parcells screwed up when he brought those 2 nuckel heads here to run our franchise . but imo Mr Ross needs to take action now and bring in the next head coach . imo theres noway we should have lost that game yesterday. imo ,alot of people say its not on sparono because the kicker missed 3 FGs ? oh yes it is ,whos the coach ? whats his job ? the way i look at it is the head coach is the man controling what happens the players are considered tools , and imo hes the man that has to make all those tools ( players) work , and have the right peice in the right place , hes the one that is in charge to make all the peices work .and he didnt get it done, the man is lost out there . imo the faster ross gets him outa here the better.sparono said that carroll was suspose to had help over the top against johnson, yeah right sparono had him one on one with johnson on both throws ,where was smith on those plays ? THE MAN DOSENT KNOW HOW TO COACH PLAIN AND SIMPLE,,,....

Unlike other positions, Tony, a cornerback "always being around the ball" is NOT a good thing.

Revis, Aromashadu...never "around the ball" because people don't throw their way.

EEEEEEEEEEEESH this is not going to go well. Frankly, I am nervous about us winning just enough games to save this guy's job and wreck future seasons.
