Cant speak for the front office.. but speaking personally, if I was responsible for players contracts/cap... I would wait until I have to make a move to do anything.. its called not burning bridges or pizzin off people when you dont have to
no but if we do start doing that in 2-3 days and i would get a little excited.

because you don't want to cut all of these players to free up space and then watch Manning decide to go elsewhere.
Just b/c guys haven't been restructured doesn't mean that guys haven't been spoken to about the possibilities of it to help out if others like Manning are brought in. But there's no sense in doing it if we don't get these free agents.
i was wondering the same thing myself..maybe they are waiting to see if they land Manning before they do it...they can create cap room rather easily...Long, Marshall and Dansby have high cap numbers and a few others...
I was just going to make a thread asking this same question. I'm watching NFLN and also reading where various players with other teams are restructuring their contracts to help their teams either get under the cap,or free up more cap space, and i have yet to hear or read about our players doing the same thing and i'm wondering why Ireland hasn't sat down with our players to restructure their contracts. We're sitting with around 15 million in cap space,and if our FO wants to or plans to make any kind of major splash in FA other than QB,then some contracts need to be restructured,and some players cut to free up more cap space.
