does anyone remember this?

Lol... I think I threw up in my mouth when he said we drafted the Ted Ginn family

what a train wreck that was.......

it's fine that they picked Ginn...but I hope whoever the PR guy was who told Cam what to say was fired that same day.

yeah how could we forget? haha it was hard to hear with all the booing in the background. hopefully this time it will be a lot better!

Oh boy, do I ever remember THAT day. When I heard Ted Ginn's name, my jaw dropped and I was absolutely furious. Fast forward one year later, I feel so stupid for booing Ted Ginn. That day was pretty much the beginning of the end of Cam Cameron. He sold Ted Ginn to the fans in the worst possible way. You don't try to sell Ted Ginn by gushing about his family and his abilities as a returner.

He should've sold Ginn on his speed and ability to open up the deep passing game as a wide receiver. Sell Ginn as a receiver first, his return abilities and character should be secondary.

Of course itll be different because whoever boos Tony Sporano will most likely get whacked and there body will be found somewhere off the atlantic

I coulodn't believe that Quinnj was actually there so I knew for sure we'd take him but then I couldn't believe my ears when they said Ginn.....now I love Ginn and think he's gonna be a great WR for us...but at the time I was stuned.

Ozzy rules!!

True that...My friend is a huge Browns' fan, and when they passed on Quinn I was so excited, and he was bummed. Right when the commish was walking to the podium he said "man, what are the chances that the Dolphins don't take him?" I told him not to be stupid there was no chance...

That being said I love Ted Ginn.

That is so funny. I was on the phone with my friend, who is a Packer fan, and I too was left stunned. Nothing came out of my mouth for what must have been a minute, all this while my friend is laughing his a-s off on the other line. I preceded to hang up the phone on him and sit there in disbelief. I do however love the Ginn pick now and have a very good feeling about him this year.

I nearly smashed my cell phone. I was reading the draft news on it, hitting refresh waiting for Miami to pick Quinn, who had fallen right to them. My wife told me "you know they are gonna screw up the pick". "Nah," I said, "we have no QB - they have to pick Quinn". I nearly went ballistic when I saw Ginn's name (actually the one player I didn't want). Hopefully, it'll work out for us, though.

I was so excited, but then as the time continued to tick I started to wonder. And then the BOMB dropped.
