Does anyone still like Tannehill?

With this his 3rd year, a new offense it is such a crucial year, the likelihood was that as the season goes on both he and the receivers would improve. In answer to your question yes I still like him, but would like to defer judgement until the end of the season. Probably my biggest concern about him would be when the pressure is on how he would perform, hopefully get the answer to that this season.

Who said he hadn't played poorly? But let's not ignore the FACT that we easily lead the league in drops and dropped yardage.

Today no drops, Lazor is calling a great game and look what's happening.

It was implied, and you are implying it again here. Saying "look what's happening" because the WRs are not dropping passes. Another part of that equation is look what happens when Tannehill throws the ball accurately.

You're reading what you want and that's fine but don't make assumptions on what I'm implying as you're coming off foolishly.

Go look up what a drop is as you seem to be confused. A drop is a catchable ball, which "implies" enough accuracy for the receiver to catch the ball.

Enjoy your haterade.

He is by far the best quarterback on our roster and gives our team the best chance to win each week. He sucked the past two games against Buffalo and KC, but we are seeing today what he is capable of.

i like him. just want more consistency. it doesn't help that he has and had ****ty coachs

I'm not happy with the results this season but I want RT ti be good. That said there's a reason to light a fire under him by adding a fresh arm. Seth Lobato can't light a fire at a campsite.

Tannehill is really good at play action from under center where he gets to roll out a little bit.

Bill Lazor seems to have figured that out. Here's hoping that he won't pull a Mike Sherman and stop using it.

Please explain how I'm reading what I want. Did you (and the first poster I quoted) or did you not say "look what's happening" when the receivers catch the ball while omitting Tannehill's improved performance?

But speaking of reading what you want to, I did not say Tannehill's accuracy caused the drops. They were two independent problems holding the overall offense back.

I still like him. It's good to see him finally show that glimpse of greatness that he has only shown a few times before. When he plays like he is now he looks like a sure fire franchise qb, but he has to find a way to keep his footwork consistent and his confidence up. He has both going against the raiders right now. Go dolphins!!

when pounce gets back, the line and QB will be much better. when Moreno gets back, we should have a good O
