At this point isn't it safe to say, for the most part, we've won despite Joey Harrington, not because of him? He wasn't asked to do anything more than not turn the ball over against the Pats and that's what he did. Once again, our defense was absolutely incredible. They handed Brady the worst game of his career. JT was unstoppable.
When Joey isn't asked to do anything more than not turn the ball over, he's fine. When we need him to score, generally he commits game ending turnovers. He's not a good starting qb and this season doesn't suggest he ever will be.
In fact, the numbers suggest that Daunte would be every bit as good as JH has been, probably better despite only being 50%. For his own health, I'm glad he was yanked, but most of the 80 sacks had very little to do with him and he was far more accurate than JH has ever been.
