Does anyone think Jesse Chatman will get some carries this week?

Does anyone think Jesse will get a few carries this week? I would like to see him available for some blast's up the middle with his 5'8 247 lbs frame in the seering South Florida sun.

He is the second best back on the team before Ricky comes back, it's just a matter if he was able to learn enough to play some.

i dont think so, hes gotta get all the blocking assignments and **** down... i think next week

Wouldnt hurt to put him in on a couple third and short plays, just to see what he's got. Cant wait til sunday, counting down the hours!!

Yea, I guess you are probably right about that. Too bad.

Probably not this week as i doubt he's had time to learn the blocking schemes and blitz pickups, might get some special teams work

Who? Didn't even know this guy was on our team, and if he's the second best RB when Ricky is gone it doesn't say to much for the rest of our RB's.

The guy we picked up from San Diego. He was LT's backup. Decent runner. Personally I think he and Sammy are very similar.

I think that Jesse Chatman might be seeing some time against Denver on Special Teams, but I highly doubt he will be getting any carries this early. He needs to learn the playbook and be more familar with the team and our Offensive Line, I think he will get some carries this season, just not this soon.

i'd like to see him get a few chances.. he's a good spell back.

Chatman is 5'8 247 lbs and averaged 6 ypc for the chargers last year. He had a toe injury and weight issues, but from what I read on the Chargers website, they were all sorry to see him go. He is only 25 years old and could wind up beeing Ronnie Permanent backup.

North South runner that always falls forward. He killed a few teams last year, but you don't get much playing time when LT is the starter. I really look for this guy to make an impact on this team at RB along with ST.

Pain we talked about him in the VIP section. At 25, he could be a promising PU. And for Saban to grab this guy right after he was released, knowing we have too many RB'S as it is, also tells me something. I bet he comes in handy on a 3rd and 1 or on the goal line. From what I have read about him, he always falls forward. On the SANDIEGO board, they compared him to Natrone Means. I really like this pickup. A very physical runner, who loves contact ( Unlike Gordon) and has some good speed for his size.
