I recall watching a Sparano presser and the question came up about who's offense it was, Henning's or Tony's and the answer was "mine."You took the tought right out of my mind. If Lee input into the offense keeps working Miami, we raise him next year to OC. You also dont need another QB coach and Henning could go back to retirement. Actually Sparano and Lee were the ones who plugged in theformations and worked on them, make me wonder if Tony has some what stripped Henning from OC call duties. Im not trying to start anything and it is merely speculation, but maybe just maybe Sparano is calling plays for Miami.
I just thought that it was pretty interesting that a QB coach was given so much of a hand in the plays. That combined with the fact that Tuna pretty much talked Henning out of retirement leads me to believe that it is a possibility.heh so we turn to a college guy because of 6 plays? I loe reading some of the stuff people on here right,. Gives me a good laugh after dinner ahahaha
I am pretty sure the plan that the team wanted to do was have Henning be the OC for a season or two(most likely two) and than turn the OC job over to Karl Dorrell. I like the trick plays David Lee brought with him, but is he really ready to control the entire Offense? Not so sure.
