Does Brandon Marshall fit a west coast system?

Another stupid question. . . How would Hartline fit into this offense?

Lots of quick passes...he'll explode in this offense. He wont see as many double teams and will have the opportunity to make a ton of quick grabs and head upfield.

Let's see, big, strong, can get off press coverage and big YAC...yeah he'll be fine in the WCO...

YES! Shannahan played a west coast style offense when he was in Denver, Marshall had great success in that style offense. Get the ball in his hands and let him do some YAC's!
my thoughts exactly. get marshall the ball let him, do the rest

I would expect were going to implement a west coast offense with the hiring of Philbin so do you think Brandon Marshall gets traded or released? I'm no expert but he does not seem to fit a west coast offense. Am I wrong?

Brandon Marshall had his BEST years in the west coast offense under Mike Shanahan..

Yep. You are wrong. He starts and has a great year.

marshall will do well in the system, however now its absolutely necessary to find his compliment. imo, bess fits the mold, marshall as mentioned, now if we are able to sign a speed guy with hands in f/a we're golden, i believe. Im not so sure if wr in rnd 1 would fly, due to the needs along the OL and on D, but i now expect us to make the TE position a priority on the team, not just a glorified lineman with hands. Fasano is ok, but beyond him im not impressed at all with that position. If we go WR rnd 1, TE rnd 2, bring in a guy like Nicks as a f/a, (and Flynn as well) we could make some waves in the division i think, burying the Ryan/Sparano/Daboll trio in the garbage dumps of East Rutherford...

Last coach philbin needs to do is trade your best player. Remember he's trying to win games, make playoffs, hoist Lombardi.

You don't trade your best players and get there.

We traded Wes welker for a 2nd, drafted Samson satele. That coach lasted one year.

no way with any type of offense do we release or trade our number 1 receiver and open up another hole< especially without a replacement as good..
