Hey guys, I just needed to share something with you..

Every week my life revolves around the Dolphins game on Sunday, wash the jersey I'll be wearing, get pumped by wednesday and always hope for the best, check FINHEAVEN on a daily basics, and so on. There is no way for me to explain how much it hurts to get a loss.. I do not know if I am alone here, it's kind of heartbraking sorrow, sometimes at night my mind just focuses on some plays and review them over and over to the point where it even gets hard for me to sleep...

Am I being too much of a dweeb LOL... or is it the way it is??

Come on guys talk to me!!!

I'm not saying I do the same thing because you sound like a loser...

But, :callme: call me we can talk about it.

your a dweeb yes but we all are. and yes it burns. Atleast we got last year, I would of killed for a one division title in these past 7 years or so.

Priorities at the age of 37 should be family, wife, children, job and NOT a game...if your losing sleep because of a football game you need professional help and I mean that in the most positive and thoughtful way...AS SMITH21 SAYS,Help is only a phone call away...good luck

No,I think that's normal to be upset after a loss. When we lose most of the rest of the day I keep thinking about why we lost, but usually the next day I'm back supporting the Fins waiting for the next game.

I feel ya brother! My family (also Fin Fans) refuse to watch the games with me at this point because they claim "I take the fun out of it". After last weeks loss I sort of just became numb to it. I invested a lot of time to keeping up on all things Fins in the off season and this 0-3 start makes me feel very empty (not in general, just as far as my sports side goes)
If we lose today I will revert back to my1-15 mindset of paying attention but not really caring about game to game as much as the big picture (draft/free agent signing stuff)

I'm 42 and have a good job. I am a husband and a father of 3. Yes. It hurts when the Dolphins lose. Yes, It is exillerating when the Dolphins win. That said; I'm not completely emotionally invested in the Dolphins now. I can't afford it emotionally.

Keep checking in on Finheaven. We are the biggest and best Dolphin site on the net. No ****. Some NFL teams don't get the hits that we get.

By the way never let a loss effect you past midnight of the day of the game or your treading in dangerous waters. I use to let a loss bother me into wed or thu but as I've gotten older midnight is the cut off.

By the way I hit you up with some rep points for being diehard

It destroys me too, I check finheaven at least 5 times a day and im very obsessed and can admit it

Same...except i'm only 35...grandpa :p

I agree with thunderbolt, it hurts, but you just gotta bounce back and hope for better next week.

I must admit. Finheaven is the best site of all the NFL football fan forums that I've visited. And yes, it does hurt when they lose. I get upset. But I also keep things in perspective. I'm not playing and I don't own the team. I've been a fan since I've known anything about football and I'm 45. So I take the good with the bad.

for instance... that loss against Colts... man I was so pissed, I dreamt of that stupid blitz all nite... not to mention Ginn's dropped pass.... Geee

Yes... midnite is good... on Mondays or tuesdays I take crow from the whole school I work in... 600 Jr. High students.... is a lot of crow...
