Talib Humphrey is the Canes FB to watch in this draft, not Kyle Cobia
Humphrey is a major college sleeper. He was very highly rated coming out of Southridge in the late '90s but had a long and rocky college career. He played at Northeast Oklahoma JC (same as Jeremy Shockey) before transferring to UM. He is a pure FB at about 6-2, 250 but he has surprisingly good hands. Many Canes insiders think he could have been a top player given better health and an offense with more emphasis on the FB.
I love late round prospects who were once considered special. Humphrey was on many of the high school blue chip lists, including best FB in Florida.
As far as next season at UM, I'm looking for big things out of Johnson, the RB who committed to UM late in the recruiting process a year ago. He looked good late in his freshman year.
