Does Matt Moore have any trade value?

Matt Moore is not a good QB. He's a waste of a spot that can be given to a rookie like Tannehill or Weeden. Moore can't throw to the left and he fumbles like a madman due to his small hands.

Matt Moore is the best back up in the league why would we want to trade him? Mallet lovers please dont post lol.

Anyone that is playing with Culombo at RT would fumble. I wonder how many fumbles were caused because of the RT work.

so, you want to give up a proven, untapped qb who you say "is a very good backup qb" to draft a rookie who WILL NOT START ANYTIME SOON [if your talking rg3] and leave us looking with a massively expensive clip board guy and searching for a backup?

not a good plan.

i agree with MARK DUPER.................

"Don't get me wrong, Matt Moore I think is a good quarterback," Duper said. "I think with the right coaching staff, with the right people surrounding him, he can be a potential Super Bowl quarterback.

Henne fumbled 0 times in his starts last year. So you can't blame everything on Columbo.

I'm sorry but what does having the "best backup in the league" get you, unless said backup is going to eventually step in and take the reigns of the team. If he's taking up 2 mil in cap, we have options that make him expendable. If we sign Flynn or Manning, a mid-round QB pick up in the draft would be enough for me to be content with our backup posistion. Getting Moore out of the picture would probably help Flynn feel a little less pressured coming into Miami competing for a starting job.

WOW!! so we have all these guys saying moore must go, he is nothing but a decent backup, its his fault we sucked last year, he has to go or were doomed, etc... but you say he has to be outta here so flynn can be more comfy being handed the job?

this leauge is all about COMPETITION and the good players feel no pressure competing. they THRIVE on it, not run from it. so this guy who has to have what many feel is a sub par qb out of the way to feel comfy is our saviour?

theres bad posts and theres BAAAAD posts!!!

C'mon, do you really think Mark Duper knows as much about the NFL as a bunch of guys sitting around their keyboards?

QBs are worth their weight in gold, if Rick Spielman was dumb enough to ship off a 2nd round pick for AJ Feeley than somebody out there might be dumb enough to ship off a 2nd or 3rd for Moore.

The browns. Hell i bet they take henne and moore off our hands.

Moore performance last year has to open the door that he might have more potential than some projected. Like Paul Saoli some players window is further down the road than others to show their true value. How many marginal players I have seen leave the fins and play much better elsewhere. Moore should most likely bring at least a 4th and may be worth much more than that to us to keep him around. HOW LONG has it been since we have had a decent young QB around. I am not talking about Pennington or an old Marinio I am talking about since Marinio and Moore be about as close as thing as we have seen since a young Marinio. So why trade or move the guy set on him and continue grooming him. He has cost us very little.

why would we trade moore? we have him for dirt cheap, and if we sign a guy like manning, we will deff need a capable backup with mannings injuries.

hes cheap, might as well keep him, and if we dont get manning, he should be allowed to compete for the starting job.

heh, if you read the 3 main jest forums, now over 1/3rd of them would trade Sanchez for Moore even up - and that sentiment's rising. However, I wouldn't do it, since that would be the realistic equivalent of a 4th rounder :idk:

One thing everyone is forgeting is that we only have Moore signed for 1 year. Most teams aren't going to give up a high draft pick unless the player is already under a resaonable contract for more than 1 year. Most would want to some commitment from Moore for more than 1 year. Trade and then restrcutured contract. Moore will want $$$. So its best to just keep him as our backup for this year.
