This guy has been playing with passion at the line backing spot. He should be very good against the run.

Not bad as a pass rusher ether. The only thing that is a worry is will he be able to hold his own in pass coverage.

He will defitnetly start. He is down to 280 I think and is continuing to lose weight. IF he keeps losing weight I think he will be an excellent OLB. You go with what is working and right now Matt Roth is working and getting to the QB.

Roth also played DE when switched to 4-3 in second half. Which makes him versaltile to the game plan.

Better to go against TE and running backs than tackles. will need help in pass coverage, safety over the top.

It looks like he will. Charlie Anderson isn't as good as training camp led us to believe, and Torbor is the only other possibility.

unless he they have him rushing the passer, I would imagine they would take him out, but what I noticed is that Roth was taking on the blocker and Crowder was blitzing inside of him. Worked great.

make sure yeremiah is playing the T.E. and/ or just bring him in on blitz situations. That makes alot of sense, he reminds me alot of trace armstrong *linebacker though

And those TE's, FB's, and Rb's are having a hard time with him. He made that FB for KC look stupid. Could you imagine 280 lbs of craziness running at you, and you are responsible for blocking him. Good luck FB's and RB's.

You HAVE to give him the chance... Some guys can be completely different players with a little space... it is early and the preseason but he has stepped up... I say give him the chance.

It's probably going to be:

OLB: Roth, Porter
ILB: Crowder, Ayodele

Torbor and Anderson seeing significant time but not starting.

The way he has been playing, i think so.

Who do you start over him anyway? Ninkovich?

I actually want him to start but before charlie anderson got injured he was the starter. Charlie anderson has shown nothing at all. I also want J. Allen to start he can be a playmaker on D with his ability to get pick and speed.

There was some hype when we first got Charlie Anderson that he would replace Jason Taylor. Now that I have seen Anderson play, he is a marginal player that reminds me of Corey Jenkins or Ed Miles. He's no Donnie Spragan, that's for sure.
