I always find myself yelling for passes to Mcmichael, mainly because he always seems to be coming through, be it catches for first or simply catches for positive yardage without fumbling.

Gonzalez and Gates are the center of their team's passing games, why can't we establish McMichael as that on the Dolphins?

Move him from 70 odd catches to over 100 and see if it helps our chances.

I just think he's our best receiver and this Chambers/Booker/Welker/Boston talk is misguided.

I don't think many on this sight will disagree he is one of our best weapons, the problem is a lot of teams gameplan is to shut him down. Regardless of who you are if an apposing coach gameplans to stop you, typically you are going to be hampered...

If he is open he will get the ball....Whatever the Defense gives you. We're not good enough yet to dictate what's going to happen on the football field...but we'll get there.

Agreed on the O side of the ball. That will come with improved, more consistent line play. Saban knows it, Linehan knows it, and suspect DMac and his counter parts know it as well.

Last season and so far this season McMichael khas by far been our biggest weapon.

Unfortunately, I almost don't want mcmichael to get alot of touches. Only because he is getting a new contract soon, and might end up going somewhere else for more money :(

But, he always gets the job done, and is our biggest threat.

I'd do what we can to keep McMichael.

Get rid of Chambers if at all possible.

That makes no sense. You don't get rid of an awesome receiver due to a couple drops. I've seen Mcmike drop as many this year as chambers.

oh guess what, rice drops passes, so does moss, T.O., irving dropped passes, so did Bo Jackson, eric moulds, wow I see a pattern developing here receivers drop passes from time to time.:shakeno:

I think that it's no coincidence that they are now talking about getting him signed to an extension as soon as possible.

as shallow as that is I would beleive that teams would do that. If we have a lead in a game and we are comfortable, I say keep it away from him. If he has only an average year, we can keep him cheaper. However, that being said we need to utilize him when we need to to put up W's.

It's not that. I've been wanting Chambers to be a #1 for years now and it's obvious he's just not capable. Atleast reduce his contract if at all possible. He's basically like Peerless Price, he'd probably be better off as a very good #2. You also realize receivers like TO, Moss, will drop one and then end up getting 150+ yards with 9 catches for the game, right? Kinda can't compare.

I don't see why not. McMike has been our best player on offense thus far imo. Though he does get his fair share of receptions. It'd be great if we used him even more. He's definately worthy of being considered with the elites at TE imo. He catches just about everything thrown at him, and is pretty damn good with picking up YAC.
