I was wondering what the rest of you think. I hear the Randy wants to draft speed on both sides of the ball, and he wants to stay in Miami, but no extension brought up by either side that could keep him here in Miami. Also reports that Cam may get more say in personnel decisions.

I wish I knew, I have such ambivalent thoughts regarding my dolphins that I am almost in a show me state (not Missouri) where I will believe that we are getting better when I see it. I am excited about the draft, as all the speculation is fun, but it will be a wait and see for me. I am not sure if I will even share season tix again this year. May just go to one game and thats all.

"I want to draft speed" Well, duh?! That's a lot like a analyst saying "the way to win is too score more points"! Who drafts slow?

That said, I hope Mueller stays and helps create a staff and team that is a champion again. He has the background and Huizenga's checkbook so let's see........................

I'd say you read my mind, but I think this is the general feeling. After decades with Shula, we've been reduced to being one of those other bumbling teams where the only constant is frequent coaching and front office changes.
I don't know if he goes, nor do I have much emotional investment in Mueller. My gut says he'll stay now that he's going to act in a more traditional GM role. I don't know how much more Tennessee could have offered that Wayne won't, including autonomy.

I hope he stays, while at the Saints he drafted some good talent, the coaches just never put it to use. He also has a history of finding raw QB's and even trades off QB's down the road for better draft choices. So I would like to see him stay, and I think Wayne has sort of given him the keys as of late with giving him the tough questions to give to cam and now running the show at the East/West game.

Alright Rev!

We need to build this team through the draft..No more giving away picks for players. It needs to stop.

Maybe an interesting thing will happen, reports have Quinn dropping (which I don't believe, but we all said the same thing about Rodgers a few years ago).

You know, I'm going to make a thread about this. stay tuned.

I think this sums me up, right now I have an emotional tie to the team but not the coaches, I am sure that will change once we get into training camp, but god I hope we can come out of the gates next season playing well, and start returning the team back to its position as #1 in the AFCE. It sucks that it has been so long since we went to even the freaking playoffs. I have forgotten what it feels like to be watching the AFC Div and Championships with interest.

No kidding. I can't remember ever watching the post season with so much apathy. I've missed half the playoff games this year, and it doesn't even bother me. Normally I would go nuts missing one, but the past 3 years or so, I just doesn't mean much to me.

Exactly, its almost as if YOU ARE my brother from a different mother, in this case an Italian American one (food thread). To get slightly on topic, I really hope we see some decent pickups, the last few years our pickups have been scrubs where we have had to justify to ourselves the whole offseason on how good they are going to be and fall flat on our face mostly. I want a pick up that I really can be excited about, so I can see that the team is dedicated to going forward.

I personally feel he wants to stay. wayne may want to see how the draft goes and how he works with cam before offering an extension. I am sure Wayne said"lets discuss it it after next year." I think he will stay, because he still knows if miami doesn't want him after the year,he'll always find a job. I think he wants this one though........so I vote he stays.

Cameron has a four year pact, Mueller only one, give Mueller a three year extension and be done with it.
