Watching the NE beating the Texans with a 3rd string QB, it seems coaching has a lot more to do with team success than the QB, unless NE is an outlier.

If Tannehill were in NE, does anyone doubt he would look like an all-pro and lead them to playoffs?

Well you cannot discount the coaching staff there and system. You just can't.

76-0 when leading at halftime at home.

I have always believed and said that, no matter who is under center for NE, as long as Hoodie is calling the shots, they will be a top tier team.

Feel free to read between the lines for my opinion of Brady's place in history.

Yes, there system is so good. I have my doubts as to whether Brady would be all world on any other team. He is awesome in that system. But could he carry a team on his back if he were on a crappy team say the way Rodgers would or Peyton could? I don't know. Cassell, Griippol, Brisket - and they win anyway.

I would think it's obvious coaching is most important aspect when it comes to a winning team but New England showing what a good coach can do with whatever he has.

Brady and Belichik work hand in hand. It's a great system that you can obviously plug and play a QB. BB always has them prepared and they do a tremendous job exploiting an opponents weaknesses.

Pats will have a very interesting decision coming up when they'll need to decide between Brady and Jimmy G.

NE looks very impressive mostly defensively and I'm starting to wonder if we lost against a team that could go undefeated when Brady comes back.

could we have a Montana / Steve Young situation coming?

I'd love to see what Belicheck would do with a dumpster fire type roster, and a single off-season to coach them up. Does he make the playoffs? NE rarely has a stockpile of big name talent. Heck, they started a LB last week (Jonathan Freeny) that was a backup for us, and we let walk after the 2014 season, and we have needed better LB's for years now. I hate Belicheck, but we all know he's at the pinnacle of the profession.

I don't think Houston watched the last half of our game last week. They are getting trounced by the same runs & short passes.

Bill Belichick could find a way to win with a department store mannequin nailed to a Roomba at quarterback.

Imagine if Breisket started and did this to us? We'd be mental.
