Does New York want Pennington back?

Oh, I think most in NY are ok with it....I'm sure opinion is divided but I can't believe they are that worried about it.
 
Yeah they can have him back.......for 6 years of 1st and 2nd rounders PAY UP JETS HAHAHA

i don't care if they want him back or not..he's a phin now and playing great for us,and that's what matters to me.....
 
Of course they want him back. And for a first round pick they can have him. :lol: And no IM NOT suggesting trading Pennington nor am I trying to start a discussion about what his trade value would be :rolleyes: Its a shame I had to point out that Im just making a nonsense statement because of the fact the Jets are hating that they got rid of Pennington and even worse that we got him. But, you know how some people are on this site.

Anyways, of course they want him back. Not only is he better than Favre is right now, but if they were losing with Pennington at QB, they would have no problem starting that Clemons kid in favor of him. And no Im not suggesting that Pennington would be playing horrible there and they would put in Clemons. Geez. Because of the nature of this board you have to waste time making things crystal clear.

My point is that under no circumstance, no matter how poorly Favre plays, there is no way they can bench him and play the kid because of 1) Favre's money, 2) Favre's name and 3) the PR hit for making that trade and benching him which would more or less be admitting they made a huge mistake.

Its just great really. :woot:
 
Great to know we now have a QB. I look forward to the offense going onto the field now in these days. For so long I was so scared of watching our awful QB's try to drive down the field. I have faith in Pennington, if not Playoffs this year, then next year they just look that much brighter.
 
Some NYJ fans might want him back (e.g. nyjunc) and some may not. But I think the biggest regret of Jets fans is probably how getting Favre (for the one potentially golden year he might provide) improved the Fins so much (for what might be several years), without them getting anything in return for it.

what amazed me was that we did not even have to compete for him in a bidding war. they had him signed in less then 24hrs of being released. that is just unheard of in this leauge. and its not like we offered him a pot of gold so bog that other teams would not make hikm counter offers.
