Does our week one game get televised now?

Since the sports world is in love with Farve i say yes i know it was going to be televised but i mean to a national audience it will be the 1pm game on CBS.

I like this i live in Redskins country so ever bar grill and resturant plays the damn skins. So i am excited to see my new look Fins IF it happens.

So what do you guys think?

I may be wrong, but I dont think they can change the schedule until later in the season with games that have playoff implications or something like that. I could be completely wrong too though.

That's changing the start time of the game. I think he was referring to keeping the same start time, and change the broadcast audience. :)

I know that flex scheduling doesn't start until later in the season, but if enough in the media make a big stink about it, it could change.

This isn't about flex scheduling. Even for the 1pm and 4pm time slots, there is still a nationally televised game. It just goes to the people that are not in a primary or secondary market of another team playing.

I certainly could see the Jets-Dolphins game of week 17 being switched to primetime if the Jets are fighting for a playoff spot (which i guess could happen but i doubt) and since the game is already such a heated rivalry.

All they'd have to do is change the coverage map for Week 1.

I guess the debut of Favre is a very important NFL story, so it is possible that CBS will change it to be their national game. But i think i'd get blacked out of the CBS game because the Eagles are home going head to head with it. So hopefully they make it a 4pm game if they do make it national.

I think you need NFL Sunday Ticket. Then you get every game, every Sunday.
