I know i might catch some "we are in a playoff run" "He has a few more years" blah blah blah. But whatever

I will forever be grateful for what Chad Pennington has done for this team on the field. He has stepped in became a leader both with his play his experience and his mouth. He has been a HUGE part of this turn around and he has officially won me over. And i would love for him to be on the staff after his football life.

Chad Henne is the future and this FO will eventually hand the reigns over when they believe he is ready. I am convinced that Chad Henne could not have learned from a better individual about being an NFL QB. Penny can teach Henne the in and outs of the NFL. Teach how to study film how to read defenses how to build rapport with your skill players and how to be the leader you need to be.

I have heard that Penny wants to retire a Dolphin which means alot of years with him still remain he is only 32 i know he has injuries but he is like Doug Flutie he simply wins football games nobody knows exactly how he is so efficient but he just wins.

I do not know how long BP will be around hopefully Wayne will give him a lifetime contract or something but even if he is gone i believe he has put in the staff to make this team successful for years to come.

Well when Penny's time has come to hang em up do you think we will offer him a position on our staff. The best teacher of a position is a guy who played that position. Hell let him be a position coach then let him become a O Coordinator. I think he feels so embraced by Miami and loves this staff and this opportunity that he will stay one and continue to help develop our young talent even after his playing days are up.

What do you all think?

I'm not so sure about pennington but, I think John Beck will wind up as a coach somewhere. He'll prolly be a very good one too. He is said to be very active in our game planning. As for Penny, I don't know if I see it happening. The best players don't always make the best coaches. I think there is a certain amount of inherrent skill within the best that frustrates them when they try to teach somebody that doesn't have it. I'm not saying he couldn't be a good coach. I'm just questioning whether or not he would want to caoch at all.

Pennington is very intelligent. It's not that far-fetched.
i agree,i think he could be a good to great QB coach after his playing days are done, and hopefully he'll want to do it with us....

It could be similar to Brian Cox going to coach for the Jets.

Forget it Chad will be the head coach at Marshall and Troy Brown will be coaching the receivers at least I hope thats what happens. Oh yea and at least one of Randy Moss's five kides will be playing wide receiver...........Go fins Go herd

Pennington will be head coach for a college team (more then likely Marshall for a while), and eventually transition into an NFL coach somewhere, will it be here? That remains to be seen, but Pennington, barring any serious injury has another 3-4 years of starting time in him.

Chad has said he would like to coach but High School or somthing because he says he coudnt coach Todays NFL player

I do see him as a College Coach
