Does Ricky Williams belong in the Miami Dolphins Honor Roll?

Yes...he does own 3 of the Top 5 Dolphins rushing seasons. He quit but it got Wannstedt fired, so cancel that out. He's the most unique athlete there is and it was great watching him.

I don't care that he smoked pot instead of taking paxil or zoloft or something, at least he kicked the habit. There are guys who've taken steroids that some people think should be in hall of fames. At least pot isn't cheating.

Maybe 20 years down the road we might look back and say Ricky was definitely a guy who had issues and his own demons, but did he ever quit on the team ON THE FIELD? I don't think he did. You also have to realize that Ricky had some type of social phobias and probably some mental health issues which most of us are very fortunate not to have. Mercury Morris was another individual who busted his tail on the field, and nobody is prouder of our undefeated season than Morris, but drugs tainted him, and you often can never right this and rebuild your name and status. I would not put Ricky in for a while.....but maybe in 20 years?...who knows? Guys like Zach and others have to be put up there first.

WHAT? yer kidding, right?

god, i hope so. what would he get in the HONOR ring for? failing MULTIPLE drug tests? running out on his team mates all for smoking idiot weed? hanging his coach and owner out to dry after they gave up multiple pics and mucho cash to get him out of new 'awlins after saying he couldnt take playing there any longer, etc.......

no. there is NOTHING honorable about anything ricky has done since becoming a fin. smoking dope, running out on your team mates and basically giving the fans who rooted for him and dropped big dime on his jerseys [both the wife and i] the finger!

shagging chicks all over the world leaving them all pregnant, some multiple times, offering NO support, taking no responsability in his sexual adventures. he only came back to football because wayne h. put it to him for screwing him and the team and the women who he helped spawn 20 some kids kicked his sorry arse in court for non payment of child support and he had NOTHING! no where to go and mystical healing somehow wasnt paying the bills [go figure?]. so, he had one place to go, wayne huizenga and the miami dolphins! he did it to eat and keep himself out of jail.

he was a model citiezen on his "comeback", but, he was going through the motions, doing only the minimum. he could have EASILY unseated ronnie brown for starting tb, EASILY, but they were good friends and he wanted ronnie to keep his gig so he did the minimum, helped his pal and took it easy. NOTHING honorable there either!!!!

PROOF? he just went to the team who offered him the LEAST carries!!

ricky's name shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath as HONOR role. wall of SHAME is where ricky williams should be, if anywhere. BU-BYE!!!

Do you also think OJ Simpson or Lawrence Taylor should be removed from the NFL Hall of Fame as well? They were not choir boys, and Simpson probably murdered two people and got away with it. Probably half the guys in the Hall of Fame did some crazy if not illegal stuff off the field. The NFL Hall of Fame is way more prestigious than any team ring of honor, but there are many guys who screwed up. Who are we to judge what some guys did off the field? Ricky never quit on the Phins during a game and that is really all I care about.
