To go further, if Ireland and Philbin were as giddy for Manning as Ross...why not pick up Wayne or Garcon right when FA started? May have turned Peyton's head right off the bat. Esp since they supposedly were shopping BM to the Bears for a little while now. Didn't they think about the horrendous WR core without Marshall when trying to lure Manning?
