I hate to ask this, but I'm really concerned that we seem to be focusing almost entirely on the defense in the off season. We are in trouble at WR, OL, and even potentially RB. Miller hasn't shown me enough to convince me that he's a true #1 RB.

The fact that we've done very little to fill these holes tells me one of two things. Either we don't have faith in Tannehill, or we're biding our time for one year so we can get rid of Philbin. Thoughts?

If anything, trusting him with 4 new pass catchers and not panicking on the offensive line means they have plenty of faith in him. Whether it's smart of them not to do more will ultimately determine the season . . . but we do have a draft still so lets see.

Miller is a fine running back for this system. Would love Gurley, but Miller was good last year.

They better have faith, they are about to pay him a lot of money. I belive the FO thinks they have their franchise guy.

you tell me, our offense was ranked 11th in points scored and 14th in yardage, in the first year with a New OC, and with an injured franchise left tackle. I'd say they have plenty of faith that a few pieces drafted or signed will help the offense.

The defense really dropped last year, and IMO is directly attributed to costing us a playoff birth (which we would've had our asses handed to us ... but...) when they ranked 12th in yards against, but a woeful 20th in points against.

Sign Jennings and draft a WR in first two rounds. Decide who to draft next whether it's LB, CB, or G.

Quite the opposite. Like Kdawg said trusting him with a shaky OL and a young receiving corp is showing faith in his ability.

If you ask me, its smart to focus on defense. While our defense is good we really don't have many difference makers, and the ones we do have are on the wrong side of 30.

Yes, big time.

The way the cut all the veterans he's used to shows faith.

Draft a Devante Parker and watch Tanny go to work.

They are filling the defensive depth...because we are going offense with the upper picks.

It's not about Philbin, it gets tiring of hearing his name.
See if you feel the same way in two months.
However, you can be sure the team is eyeing 2016 for the hardcore push. Sad but likely true.
We can make the playoffs but only with a strong start like 6-2 or 5-3.

There is no doubt this FO trusts tannehill as they are about to pay him a lot of money. With that being said our running back position is not a problem on this team. We need depth at WR which we are certain to focus on.. The only areas of major concern are GD, CB and MLB... Probably in that order although CB and GD can be swapped

Theoretically it could also be seen as a last ditch effort. Leave one constant. If it doesn't get better guess what?

The guess what question should have been answered on black Monday as phailbin is the main culprit this team is weak. Even if we make the playoffs, he should be canned.

No, he's terrible and might even get cut this offseason. We need to trade for rivers right away. Damn dude come on do you not read Omar Kelly's articles?
