Does the Miami Dolphins cast of Five deserve an Oscar?!?!

I tend to agree that perhaps they left early because they had seen what they needed to see. Again, I think that some of you overanalyze things. If any other teams were scared off because Miami left early, they need to be fired and quickly. What team bases their opinions on another's evaluations? If they did, they should be unemployed.
 
I think you guys are giving Nick's apparent opinion of Wright way too much weight here. I sincerely doubt that all 31 other GMs (or equivalents) were so stunned by 5 people walking out that it changed their plans for Manuel.

I think it's apparent Wanny had no regard for what any other team was doing. That's the only explanation for Eddie Moore or Wade Smith in my opinion.

Quite seriously, no personnel people (even Wanny) are transfixed to that degree by what another team does. They might become interested in trying to figure out if what they do is telling them anything about their plans, but that doesn't go to changing value judgments.

I don't know if the Fins organization is setting the trends for the rest of the league quite yet...

Saban has a good pedigree, but i doubt Holgren, Shanahan, Gibbs, Reid, Cowher, Belichick, Dungy, Billick, Vermeil, etc... are going to cheat of the new guy.

Those guys have been around long enough to come to thier own conclusions.
 
Wright's workout probably cost him two rounds. Hopefully, he can get in shape and show what a steal he was in the 5th round -- loads of potential for sure.

Never said he wasn't, but DT's aren't exactly stacked...lotsa hurt old guys a 5th with potential and a 7th.

I wouldn't be surprised if you took another young DT in the draft next year.

we are Deep on the outside...inside I think we are still one away but after this pick im not as worried about depth this year.

I still think were looking at a first day DT choice next year if we don't go for one right in the first. Still a lot of age there.

I just don't know if Wright solves the problem at DT THIS season..

absolutely not But I was nail biting worried about DT before now its just beads of sweat on my forehead.
