If they don't want to look professional, if they want the freedom to dress like a clown, then they can easily achieve this...don't play in the NBA. Nobody is forcing them to play in the NBA.
i never said they shouldnt comply with the dress code, all i said was they should have the freedom to wear what they want and i dont think they should enforce a dress code. They play basketball. i dont see why the NBA wants them to wear nice casual clothes if they arent comfortable in them.
