Does trading booker open up a spot for a RB?

Very possible, could be a steal too. Guy has arguably the best vision out of any RB in this class, always finds the open hole. He nearly broke Barry Sanders single season yardage record. Yes, it was in C-USA, but still those numbers are hard to ignore. Especially when Chris Johnson went in round one, and Forte went early round two from C-USA, Smith was better than both those guys.

I was personally at 9 of kevin smiths games this year. the thing about him vs cusa was not that he was great it was that he looked like he was so far and above better than anyone else and he ran for 215 vs NCS 180 vs Texas and 115 vs Miss St.

he isnt quick but he has an extra gear, and the sight you talk about means that he will eventually hit that extra gear. he is NFL ready right now and he honestly makes me think of ricky williams running style

Bring kevin to Miami

I would say yes...but with all the running backs getting drafted...surely some will be released. I'm up for taking K. Smith...but I also see J. Hester as a Parcells type...and he could also be a target...he can play both fullback and RB.

Could the opening pick of day 2 be Kevin Smith?

No. Why do you think we re-signed Pat Cobbs for? We have 3 RBs already...Brown, Williams, and Cobbs. now, maybe we can draft one just for competitions sake in the 6th or 7th rounds....maybe.

Seems to me just a few days ago...the Dolphins were signing the praises of Booker...how he looked fast as Ginn...was that in packing?

Williams is done for. Please stop living in the past thinking that he will be a factor at all. He is too old now, past his prime. Let's move on. Take a RB with the first pick in the 3rd.

ooooh, the great and powerful pa cobbs...im sure teams will be game planning fr him once ronnie gets hurt again and ricky is suspended:rolleyes:

Smith, Brown could be a great 1, 2 punch in the future. We have way too many holes though

Front 7 is set. Let's shore up the Oline with a guard and get a WR. Also we need a DB or two and TE. I would put RB after all of those in priority.

funny. the fact we traded Booker, which i didn't like, shows to me they reckon Ricky has enough in the tank to be a legitimate #2.
